There's a lot of manufacturing. It might pay you to buy in at a discount a standard recumbent tricycle and convert it. Some of the legal issues might fall on the original supplier. A front wheel tiller design might reduce costs.

Dear Paul,

When changing two-bolts on such Original TriCycle, the original manufacture is out of the claim.

Regards, Johan

You might consider switching to a double wishbone front end on your next version.  It could cut down on unsprung weight in the front end and with rubber bushings at the frame ends and sealed ball joints at the wheel end, would be weatherproof, maintenance free, and couple less vibration to the frame.

The cheapest cost-price maintenance front suspension, with out all the Wish-Bones, Bearings, Ball or Bush, is a double vertical flat springs above each other.

Nice Johan,

I would also look into maybe a solar power surf board if you can fit a 200 watts panel on that thing, people love going green...

----------------------

What we did do for a SailBoot, is changing the Sword below the boot, in a multi-layer package from: Copper, nylon fence, Zinc, nylon fence, Copper, nylon fence, Zinc, .................. big self flushing MonoCell Battery, this in salty waters, you understand, you can shape it like you're needs, so maybe for you're Motor-Surf board?

They talking GREEN, and jumping in a plane, making commercial for 4-stroke running on 2-stroke mix, poor kids from those parents, power and the ants, makes me SAD for them, the kids of the future world!

Not if one is working with the original manufacturer.

Hi Paul,

But than you have a US supplier, to do what you purpose with Chinese Manufactor? Did not work out for us, only at ≥ 10.000 pcs/year, but you're right it could!
