Tommey Reed's HHO pulse Jet.
« on: April 16, 2016, 09:14:20 PM »
Hi All,

I design the theory of a pulse jet using HHO pulse explosion/implosion system.

I will explain how it works:

Using a tanks  having to special check valves on each end to close the tank to be filled with HHO.

As the gas is inject either by a mechanical valve or injector system. When the fuel explodes a few things happen inside.

Step 1: Inject fuel.
step 2: Explosion, output valve open allowing pressure to move in one direction.
step 3: Implosion , output valve close and allowing vacuum to open rear check valve open to intake air.
step 4: Both valve closed and refill with gas.

As you know these are theories, but that why I always believe a prototype must be built.

And here it is, simple but it works...

Holy Crap Tommy, that thing is a monster!

Any idea of what kind of thrust you might get out of it?  Will your valve system allow it to operate at some kind of resonance like the small model airplane pulse jets do?

Not what I pictured....

.............. Its Better !! !!

Playing with a Pulse in a cavity is where things could really get interesting ....

very Nice indeed !!

thanks for posting this.

So it fires and then that woooshing sound is the air rushing back into the Recombination or Vacuum event ?.

it is quite obvious this is much more complicated to do than it appears at a casual  first glance or impression  [just a Piston in a tube ]

you have obviously created a Cycling system ...air does not rush back into a completely open chamber like that !

Tis indeed a thing of beauty !!
and a beast !!

thx

Chet

Hi Tommy, C'man again..

We must be related.. We think alike : )

I did a few test a few years back with HHO using the push AND the pull, with a valve system to separate the im- and explosion
[size=78%]I have a few Youtubes of it online.
I wanted to loop it in a ring, out the basics seems the same.

More fun! : )

Inflow test

There are a few others on my channel as well.

This is the basic design.

You need to remember that storing pure HHO is VERY DANGEROUS. A cylinder can be set off easily. Bob Boyce suggests that the stuff should be generated as needed and fed straight in.
