the theoretical mass of a photon...

one has to wonder why this "mass" must be included in the mathematics for everything to work out right....

why is it, that we presume the "mass" to be imaginary?
is it because of the velocity? and the energy required to obtain such?
Although, it does make a nice argument, nothing in the theory claims to know by which means said massless particle accelerated up to the speed of light to begin with.
There is no claim to the knowledge of said required acceleration force.

By what mechanism, does a massless particle undergo a downward Doppler shift, then shift upwards again back to the velocity of C ?
surely, if such object had any mass at all, the energy required would approach infinity.
So, where from comes the change in Momentum?
Under certain conditions, change in momentum can represent changes in the particles "energy".

Simply put, the point charge of a wave function, propagating at c
of any finite amplitude, greater than 0, must by default, travel faster than the speed of light.
For this to be possible, according to commonly accepted physics, the particle must have no mass.
It is not explained, how such massless particle possesses momentum.

It is also not explained how the point-charge of a propagating wave, can successfully violate relativity.

There are those that will argue with what I just stated, and to you, I challenge thus:
Measure the distance covered by the wavefront, of any wave propagating at "c".
of ANY amplitude, the point-charge of the wavefront must cover a distance
greater than the linear point to point distance of the wave propagation.

If the wave is propagating at a velocity of "c", then the distance it covers (linearly) corresponds to
 the distance covered by "c" during the time allotted.

The point-charge at the wavefront, must also travel in the vector of the amplitude.
Thus, the total distance traveled is greater than that of "c", during the allotted time.

This problem is generally skipped over in the education systems.
we simply state boldly that the particle "has no mass", and therefore, the equations do not apply.
However, when we need to apply them, we have to take the calculated (or theoretical) mass value
for the math to work out right.,

This "theoretical mass" is exactly the mass value calculated by it's momentum

So, using Momentum as the units in our equation, explain the Doppler effect.
hmm....
There's something wrong here,. is there not?
Is the Doppler shift, in fact, not thermodynamically equivalent?
Is Thermodynamic Theory incomplete? or excepted, in this case?
