The simple answer to the question where energy comes from:

all energy comes from the sun and to put it in a cosmological context, all energy comes from the stars.

Just view the stars as hot fires and the space in between stars is cold. Heat can flow from the hot stars to cold space.

And everything (all atoms) is produced from that. Stars eventually explode as super novae (producing heavier atoms) or become black holes.

Eventually all stars will burn out. But this will be a while.


And here on earth, the only big energy source is of course the sun. And the sun will burn a few more billion years.

All life on earth is driven by the sun (plant growth) and also the weather (wind).

So, stick with the sun and you will have plenty of energy (photo voltaic, heat from sun light, wind energy).

On a human scale we have free energy from the sun, at least for a few more billion years.

It is only a political question whether we use the sun or burn oil and gas. And if we recognise the potential of the sun, we have plenty of energy here on earth. Just take it. The technology is available (photo voltaic, wind power, water power, gas from composting plants), we just have to implement it.

Life on earth shows you, that one can live millions of years from the sun`s energy.

In your case, the energy comes from Mr. Hand, as we have discussed before. And Mr. Hand gets the energy from your breakfast, which got its energy mostly from the sun, which gets its energy from nuclear fusion, which got its energy from the Big Bang, which got its energy from .... God.

Tinselkola,  I know you can do better than that. Yes it starts with the hand but that
energy cannot take the pendulum past 10 oclock. So where does the rest come from?
It has to come partly from the magnet - perhaps spin and perhaps some interaction
with gravity to give it a boost. This device is tilted up about 20 degrees and if it has
more or less tilt it will not work. I believe the magnetic force has to be balanced with the gravity force.  Its still quite a mystery to me. That mystery has been well preserved in a box for some day in the future. Now suppose I put you on a swing and lifted you up to 2 oclock and dropped you and you almost went over the top....When you stopped
and got your feet on the ground your head would be in a great turmoil and your undies would likely need changing.

What puzzles me most is the lack of any genuine interest in the anomaly.

It seems that the top magnet at about 11 o'clock could be repelling the neo slightly when you raised the pendulum. This  of course would add momentum when you released it.  It would be difficult for you to feel this extra force.

In high school the teacher taught that HEAT was the most "reduced" form of energy. Whether that is true, well...

The Sun, is our main source of heat and light. A great ball of seething atoms.

Kinetic theory explains heat as a macroscopic manifestation of the motions and interactions of microscopic constituents such as molecules and photons. So, heat is energy that is in a process of transfer between a system and its surroundings.

But, a careful examination can reveal that heat is caused by friction of atoms. Rub your hands together fast and hard and you can see this. Your hands will get hot. Yet, the real interesting thing is that THE ATOMS IN YOUR HANDS NEVER REALLY TOUCHED EACH OTHER! So, the atoms where somehow able to affect each other from some distance away from each other.

By this fact it can be understood that the more mass you clump together, the more heat you will generate and even self perpetuate. because the atoms are pressed together forcefully by their own gravity, but repealed by charge forces.

The secret is the makeup of the atom. Large groups of atoms are the key to where the energy comes from.

The Moon isn't quite big enough to retain much heat.
Earth retains enough heat to melt rock internally.
Jupiter and other large planets actually emit a lot of heat and radiation.
And we all can see what the sun does.
And there are much bigger brighter stars.

Nuclear fusion is not the source of the heat in the sun. Heat from friction generated by crushing gravity and repelling charge forces of that which the atoms are made up is what results in the fusion of atoms. The self perpetuated heat will forever radiate outward and should never run out as long as the smallest unit of charge exist to fight against gravity. Is there such a thing as a motionless electron?

Just to let you know the earth has its own power system and it is power by water from the sea.
Fusion reactor inside the earth due to extreme pressure of the earth crest and fuel by heavy water
exhaust helium 3.. that is why there is a lot of helium 3 released when there is an earth quake .

No the pendulum will not go past 12 because there is a huge sticky spot there.

The first really big clue to understanding the mysterious pendulum is to notice
how it behaves. It goes right up and then drops easily down to 6 oclock and stops.
That tells me that gravity and magnetism are interacting to make that anomaly.

Beyond that I know nothing more to explain it.

But, as I stated above, fusion is not the 'source' of the heat 'energy', fusion is the result.
The source of heat energy is the minimum quantum charge of the electron volt in it's fight (friction) against gravity.
Heat energy therefore has a self perpetuating cumulative source from the massive clumping of atoms, each having minimum quantum charge values, that results in the motion we see; fusion, light, etc.

Sometimes, we don't necessarily need to know how something works. We only need to have appreciation  that things are designed in such a way that we benefit from the way it all works together.
