The propeller "Airfoil" and the Hydro-Turbine "Hydrofoil" work on the same principle.

I suggest that you read their website carefully. Nowhere does it say that the energy of the flowing water is unchanged. I quote: " generate clean, reliable, low-cost electricity from their gravity-fed water pipelines and effluent streams."
That is exactly the same as Niagara Falls.

Your the one who's behind on his homework; The water flow returns to full strength after it passes through and around the hydro-turbine at a specific length of travel. Another turbine is positioned  there.

The Niagara Falls drop is vertical, whereas the water pipeline is sloped gradually.

This discussion does raise an interesting similarity: Think about all of the Wind-Turbines that have been built around the world in places such as Canada, USA, UK, Netherlands, etc, etc in the last few years. With all of the mega-watts of power that has been "harvested" (ie removed from the wind) what MEASURABLE difference has it made on the wind-speed ?? No-difference, NONE.

Tesla pointed out that the sun creates the weather, both wind and rain. Rain flows down hill. Regardless of how much we slow it down, it reappears once again spontaneously from above. Politicians don't precipitate, all they do is evaporate.
