Introduce a catalyst with a big C and we get: 2C+H2=2CH + heat of reaction - heat of entropy change.heat of reaction - heat of entropy change + 2CH= 2C+H2 + heat of entropy change.back to beginning

But the catalyst only lowers the activation energy, and breaking the H-H bond to make 2 Pt-H will require that H-H bond breaking energy from the environment, regardless of the entropy. This will cool the environment. The 2Pt-H to 2Pt+H2 will release the same heat. The net gain is zero. Unless of course you believe in Lyne's garbage. I know Frolov got together with Lyne to build a device, which apparently worked, but Frolov is  well known to scam investors.

Yes but who did the work of collecting heat energy from the surroundings,you or the catalyst.if it was the catalyst then there's a gain not so?the catalyst is merely storing that gain
