INTERESTED IN PLASMA BALL AND PANCAKE COIL TALK??
« on: July 14, 2015, 04:42:11 AM »
Hi All,
If you ever wandered what and how much energy can be extracted from the top of a plasma balls surface then you will find good reading here:
Join in if interested.  All you need is a plasma ball, some speaker wire and 4 diodes.

It all started when this fellow easily charged a 6 farad audio capacitor in no time at all.

Please check out this video before commenting.

Hi Tom,

Reading just a voltage is for nothing. Apply some load and show how much energy can you get of it ;)

For the second video: please some measurements - IN /OUT  (Joules, WATTS..)

I plan to do just that once I am able to extract at least 1,000 DC volts out of my setup.
