Fact from books

James Clerk Maxwell, in 1861–64, published his theory of electromagnetic fields and radiation, which shows that light has momentum and thus can exert pressure on objects.

I have learned that light cannot exert pressure, but the object that the light shines on will release ions, which has mass, and therfor the ions exert pressure on the object.
Electromagnetic radiation has no mass, but we have learned that energy do have gravity.


Maybe I'm wrong.

actually it seems to have mass and momentum if I remember fine, i've read something about it, it was a project to be launched someday
