I have an idea about a device that produces electrical energy at an efficiency of greater than 100%. I need someone trust worthy to speak to and exchange ideas with and i dont know where to start. It uses know principals to operate but after scouring the internet ive come across nothing even remotely similar to my idea. I won't disclose too much here, but basically it involves water under siphon, permanent magnets and some coils. Ive had this idea for many years, and have spoken to a few close friends who are engineers, about it, and they cant see why it wouldnt work, it doesn't seem to violate any laws of physics, and could potentially be the answer all of us have been looking for. So where to from here? Who can i trust to speak to about this possibly game changing idea?

There is an extreme low probability of you being right; what criteria do you use for trusting?

Why can't your engineer friends help you?

One approach is to use an NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement), and get the other party to agree to the conditions and sign it, prior to discussing anything to do with your invention. This can be in addition to or distinct from Patent protection.
