How is it "misleading" to believe Tinman's explanation of his own circuitry over Syncro1's speculation?

Tinman says he shorts one of his coils at a particular time in his generator's cycle.

I have no reason to believe he does otherwise.

Yes,coil B is shorted for part of the rotor segments induced time.
Some are confused it would seem.

Yes, I was Confused, doesn't help that PW is a Dick!

I have fixed my last drawing of your Circuit, thought it best to fix my error.

And yet it is you that always throws the insults about.  Please post where I have done so towards you.

Youre just stupid!

Tinman said he used a: IRF540

What's going to happen to the Cap: If Coil B was Shorted?
Nothing is going to happen to the cap,as you are looking only at the schematic provided for measurement placing only.

Come on PW, I have a Hankie here for you!

@Tinman, old mate, you have done good work, I commend you! My replication of your Rotary Transformer is not the same as yours due to "Shorting". So I must revoke my statement that I have replicated your work! Its similar but not the same.

If you're happy to, and I can still tease PW then feel free to keep posting here. Maybe we could both learn some from each other. Like I said, I have never gone down the Shorting path. Yes, I think I am now guilty of a small assumption here!

Regardless of "Shorting" - Whats Going to happen to the Cap with one Polarity of an AC Signal across the Cap?

The cap will eventually charge up to the max voltage of that signal.

Quote
Whats the Diode in the Fett going to do to the Cap depending on its Polarity?

Nothing,as you do not see the complete schematic.

Some times(ok,most times) i really dont see the point in slinging mud. You and MH have been at each other since the start. PW,and MarkE have always done there best to help me,so if by me staying in this thread is only going to add  encouragement to mud slinging toward those i feel have helped me throughout my time here, then perhaps it's better i post nothing more.

I would really like you to post your motor setup here EMJ,so as we can see if it is possible to achieve what i !THINK! i have in a different way.

Im done with going through all those post, and replying to them all-->too bloody many.

Tinman,

I truly hope you will continue to either post here or possibly start a new thread.  I am very intrigued by your results.

I will understand whatever you decide.  However, I always enjoy reading your posts and interacting with you.

I also appreciate your above and beyond effort in making videos, etc.

Whatever you decide, thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I get tired of trying, then it turns into a slinging match! Sometimes fun, sometimes not.

Yes, been a busy day today, no need to go through more, you've made yourself clear.

My motor was a few days back now. I have packed it up and put it all away. I will get it out again and take some pics. Will post soon.

EMJ,

Go back and reread tonight's posts.  You will find the "slinging" is exclusively one sided and coming from you.

There is no need for it whatsoever.

For a walking, talking, engineering encyclopedia (with the optional built in calculator), you're a real funny guy...

You are, however, absolutely correct.

Well I confess my guilt but when EMJ played the MIB card I wanted to give him some push-back.  At least I try to inject some wry humour into it.
