Farmhand:

The thing to focus on is the seven second mark.  TP2 is at zero volts at that point.

The voltage source is one volt as shown in the schematic.

Please let Chris and Enjoykin discuss it for starters.  Perhaps later we can widen the discussion.

Since our residents object to MH's circuit as drawn, perhaps they can take a whack at this circuit.  Fill in the waveforms for I1 and TP2 from 7 seconds onward.

The voltage source is an ideal 1V source.
The pulse generator output has zero impedance.
The pulse generator voltage swings between 0V and 10V.
The pulse generator rise time is 100ns.
The pulse generator fall time is 100ns.
The coils have no mutual coupling.
The coils and wires have zero resistance.
The wiring has zero parasitic capacitance.
The MOSFET is as specified.

OK KIDDIES - Time to take this OFF TOPIC Pissing Competition off to a forum that is having a Pissing Competition about Electronics!!!

Not Here! The question MileHigh asked, was answered - Period!!! Which was also OFF TOPIC !!!

So, TAKE A HIKE!!!

MarkE:

I can translate this for you:

"I do not have a clue about this simple electronics question that you have asked.  Therefore, I will pull out the old "off topic" ploy in an attempt to obfuscate so people will still think I know what I am talking about.  I will claim that I have already answered, which of course, everyone here knows that I have not, but, still, that will not stop me because I am very good at making folks believe I know more than I actually do."

End Translation.

And furthermore to that Pirate I read the translation as saying that he is not even prepared in either way to begin to offer an answer.

EMJ, can you tell us what the "Principal of operation" is for your device or not ?

Ok Back to topic content!!!

Lenz's Law, the Magnetic Field, this field is in opposition to the Changing Source Field, thus the EMF = -dPhi/dt

where the (-) sign implies Lenz's Law, opposing Magnetic Field.

The Magnetic Field that is invoked by drawing current from an Inductor after Charge Separation has occurred (Electromotive Force) is also a Magnetic Field that Changes in Time

Which I have said many times, is the first requirement of Induction!

Andrey Melnichenko termed this field a "Secondary Field" - See his Video

This "Secondary Magnetic Field", because it is changing in Time, can induce an EMF again in another Inductor. Again the Fields will oppose. See in the attached video, how the field is reduced dramatically when the Fields Oppose!

Farmhand - If you have not been following, and do not wish to go back and read what I have already given, then you're going to miss the buss!

I wish to point out, the information I have given, is in MUCH more detail and accurate than any before me.

Mark.E., isn't the value Tp2 incorrect on the graph ? The voltage source is 1 volt not 10 volts.

Shouldn't Tp2 drop from 1 volt to zero then rise above 1 volt due to the inductance it faces in the second coil.
Someone is paying attention!  As the circuit was drawn, the I1 begins integrating at 0 seconds at 0.33A/s.  It's funny how our OU geniuses did not spot either issue.  Here is timing that is simpler:

Next, let's make things a bit more interesting.  Let's couple the two coils in a bucking configuration:

Let's see what our resident free energy claimants can tell us about what happens in this circuit.

MarkE:

That is off-topic.  You can't post a schematic of two coils on this topic as this is the Partnered Output Coils topic.  Partnered Output Coils are two coils that...oh wait...

Then what the hell is Chris talking about being off-topic?
