I think a real shill persona would act exactly like Cap-n-Sea. Posting lots of propaganda and FUD and never engage in an actual argument. Only less moronic and ridiculous, of course.

I have no idea what a shill would do but if you look at people like Mark Blaxill who makes his living off anti-vaccine propaganda.  He runs a website called "Age of Autism" effectively the spend their days trying to find news stories and find a slant that supports their point of view.  So this is sort of like what SeaMonkey does or more specifically it's reminiscent of the websites that SeaMonkey quotes.

Cap-mo-ron - strikes me as just a garden variety troll.

Wow,  i took Christmas break off from the forum and you guys are still talking about trolls ??   Who cares about them. It's really quite simple - ignore them.  I don't even bother reading their posts as soon as I see certain names next to it. I might occasionally entertain them, but only on the appropriate thread.  That's it,  nothing to it.

That sounds like the tag line to an erectile dysfunction drug.
It means Mark that at the moment, there is no need for them to be here,as there are NO free energy devices present here on OU.com. BUT if there is ever a time that some one dose indeed come up with some wonderful free energy device(that we dont already have-eg solar panels),then i would suspect a visit from some interested parties.

But at this point in time,i think were all safe.

P.S- No erectile dysfunction as of yet ;)

Don't you suspect that by the time anyone learns of something remarkable (and real) here that it will already be known by so many that it would be virtually impossible to suppress?

And why not free energy forums? ;)

Mags

Especially free energy forums.

I noticed that most of the one handed typers have either dismissed offhandedly or ignored this information.

Is that a yes, you think that there are some people who are paid to post here?

As I said, why not here. ;)

i) Because it doesn't seem at all comparable. The  Canadian government *announcing* they are going to be joining discussions on political forums isn't a) the same as attempting to quiet free-energy and b) not much of a clandestine operation.
ii) Because they don't seem at all interested in free energy - either for or against.
iii) Because even if they were interested in keeping free energy down it doesn't seem to have any effect.  Unless you want to claim that all of my naysaying has definitely hurt OU research. If so - GRRRRRREEEEEEAAAAATTTTT!!!! :) :) :)
iv) If it did have some kind of effect it seems terribly inefficient for an organization with a lot of money and people.

So yeah.  That's "why not".

Those who do their best to dispel the reality of the paid trolls are well aware that Tesla has been erased from the history books...and they are well aware why.

And they are here getting paid to do the same to any potential new Teslsa's on the horizon.

Its not rocket science, to perceive the reason they are here.

The question is "How can you suppress something that does't exist?"

Well, if the suppression is very successful, then it can be easy to believe that it doesnt exist. ;)

How do you 'know' that it doesnt exist? And if you dont believe it does, or even that it might be possible, why are you here at all?  ??? Is this a comedy club? Do they have great food here? And if it is just boredom, are there not other sites that one could find to fill their time more positively, rather than beat the dead horse they may believe this all is? ;)

We have threads here that are beat to death. Literally. Some threads that tend to be held hostage it seems with page after page of 'distractions', by some that never put the meat on the plate to put an end to it all, to put a bad idea to sleep and move on. If 'they' believe that the idea presented in a thread is totally bunk, then they should have to prove their objections themselves. They should build, replicate and run the full gamut of testing 'they' push, and 'require' to no end from the presenter. But they dont believe they should have to and pressure the presenter in all manners. TK does a lot of 'showing' proofs. Cudos to him for being a fairly straight shooter. I say fairly because a lot of the time, its not a close 'replication', but most are fair substitutes. He doesnt just paste other peoples quotes, pics and vids. He takes his own pics. Makes his own vids. And he builds to show his proof of understanding, whether is is for or against someones crazy idea, down to the simple. I do not believe he is a paid distractor. Might have in the past for certain reasons, but I was at fault for a lot of it.  :-[ ;D

Anyway. Got carried away here. Was only gunna post the first sentence.  I shilled myself. lol But no pay. ;D

Paid shills?  Really?

Does anyone really believe this to be true?

Using Alex Jones as a reference is not very convincing.  I mean, really.

What about the unpaid shills?  What about them?  Just think of how hard it must be, living under a bridge somewhere typing your heart out....for free.
Now that really sucks.  They should at least get minimum wage I would think.

Now of course, there are folks on here like Lt. -1 (Yes, he got demoted) that just act as shills and trolls for fun.  This is sick but true.

In all seriousness, I really doubt that anyone in authority is "watching" this site, or any like it.  Well, besides the NSA but that is for another reason.

This is true.  There are many other things that are being shuffled from history in schools today. And much more aggressively in recent years.

Well firstly the idiom "erased from the history books" barely means anything these days.  Just in case you haven't noticed Tesla isn't exactly unknown.  In fact a Google search for "Nikola Tesla" produces over 10M hits where a search for "Thomas Edison" produces over 8M.   Whatever you imagine is being removed from history books it isn't hurting Tesla's popularity.  I rather doubt that general history texts are supposed to be exhaustive anyway.  I'd suspect that books about electromagnetics give Tesla his due.

Not to mention that you seem to claim that history erasure is done at a higher rate.  Did you ever stop to think what you would have to know in order to know that?  You would need at the very least a randomized sample of history texts.  Every year.  Then you would have to read them all.  Then you would have to compare the historical figures, events, etc... which were recorded.  The math says you haven't done this.

MarkE and MileHigh are two of the most obvious distractors on this forum. They should both be placed on permanent moderation. Where do these guys find the time to feed non-stop rubbish into this forum if they're not on a goverment payroll?
