there is potential of a break through by this forum.

perhaps a iron copper battery with high salt solution.
in addition, to have the ion  gen  recharge a battery.  i can increase the potential with ozone, 03, uv light. works very well to gain free electrons. ions and electrons work the same way.

please try some experiments. i need to know for sure the energy potential with increased surface area of foil. its 4 pie r square i think.   

meaning i scoop off charge . the coal car analogy tom bearden mentioned. do not destroy dipole.

because of a gap we also gain electron volts in another manner all together. a ho uv led would work well/ ionizing radiation all around us add to tthis vast ocean of energy.

Sorry, if I came off excessively negative in the previous post.
I am not negative about your idea at all! I think static electricity
is inherently overunity energy because you use an induction
machine to have the environment produce more than you
already have and you have an electrical antenna to do it. So,
that is inherently extensible.

take a look a the following Web link;

This guy is doing almost the identical thing to what you purpose, plus he has a voltage converter
circuit that appears to be what is needed. You will want to try to work with him
to come up with the following:

a) Formalize what you both have. That is; try to produce something
that would pass for an engineering drawing of the mechanism. Create
a part list.

b) Have his capacitors run something called a DC to AC power inverter
and have this inverter run either his/yours ion generator. Maybe both.

c) demonstrate it on youtube in a self-looping configuration.

d) Now, put the device into the form that can generate general excess electrical
power without disrupting the local environment, due to excessive free static electricity.

Do not do anything else, plus skip the Tesla stuff, you will be successful which is
what is required.

Twelve minutes of talk, and no action? And he didn't even build the VDG himself?

Anyone who works with good high-capacity capacitors knows to keep them shorted by a jumper so that they do not accumulate charge from the environment.  And he conveniently leaves out discussion of the power required to make the VDG run and generate the static he plans to collect in his capacitor bank. The energy this requires will be greater than the energy he will be able to recover, after all the accumulated losses have their inevitable effect.

And I absolutely hate that PESN introduction clip with the loud startling noise and the fake "electricity in the hand" cartoon. Sterling could at least have shown some real hand holding real electricity.
