Magnetic Motor: Mike Brady His Story
« on: November 17, 2014, 09:41:30 AM »

This is Mike Brady's Story in his own words of the events leading to his prison time in Germany.
There are many lessons here for inventors and people making free energy claims
It is a sad story in many ways but a worthwhile read.
The Perendev Magnetic Motor is still yet to surface in a thrid party independently tested form.

It's truly amazing to read that screed from Brady. You are right, Mark, that all the rotation of the "perendev" magic motor that Brady demonstrated to his duped witnesses came from the closing of the clamshells to start the thing up. "Running" for 20 minutes is nothing, for a big heavy flywheel on good bearings, which is all that the "Perendev" rotor really is. Heck, my "Mylow" testbed would "run" for over ten minutes on just a gentle hand-driven push, and it has nowhere near the rotating mass of the Brady concoction. Since the magnet interactions are conservative, this runtime changes very little with magnets in the "active" position or when they are removed and replaced with dummy weights. The "Perendev" design depends on magnet interactions for startup, but if the magnets are removed and replaced with dummy weights, and the rotor manually given an initial spin to the same RPM that it develops with magnet-starting, it will also "run" for about the same duration as with a full set of magnets. Therefore the magnets have no real effect, except as another loss mechanism.  The only possible "out" for Brady is self-delusion, but even that excuse is put to rest when one carefully examines the objective facts of the case. His present set of claims, written while in prison, is a bunch of "spin" combined with some more shall we say "questionable" statements of events.  I am aware of one particular case where Brady arranged a meeting with a certain well-known investigator, who came ready to see the motor running and with the ability to provide huge funding from investors, but was put off with the usual excuses when he arrived at Brady's location (at great expense I might add). Instead of seeing the "perendev" device running as arranged, the investigator was presented with a kludged-together tabletop electrolysis device that performed poorly (as expected), and a bunch of incredible excuses for why the "motor" was not available for inspection as agreed and arranged.
In my opinion, Brady is a pathological liar and deserves everything he got from the court system, and more. Let us not forget that he actually did claim that there were operating installations of his "motor", driving generators, in hospitals and other "secret" locations, and that none of these claims were true.
