Some Questions That Need To be Asked
« on: September 14, 2006, 09:24:06 PM »

I know that this is going to upset Lindsay, but someone has to say it and it might as well be me so here goes.

1.  A video dated 1997 shows a TPU system brought to an advanced state of development, but nine years later still no sign of a product in the market.  Are there insurmountable technical problems holding things up?

2.  How can we reconcile Steven?s statement that ?I have never personally sought money for the technology? with the statement by Stan Deyo, one of the Australian group who attended a demonstration, that Steven sold the rights to the TPU to his attorney Paul Stemm for $10 million.

3.  If Stan Deyo is telling the truth then why would someone settle for a paltry $10 million when keeping control of the invention could make them the next Bill Gates?

4.  If Steven did not sell the rights to the TPU to UEC how did UEC gain control of the device without money changing hands?

5.  Why does Steven not what us to see the patents granted to UEC for parts of the TPU?  Do these patents really exist?

6.  Is the Universal Energy Corporation a real company and are there public records that can be consulted that show records of this company?

7.  If the UEC really exists who are the shareholders and were shares raised by making demonstrations of the TPU?

8.  Was Steven the mystery inventor whose invention was announced by an euphoric Steven Greer during a radio interview with George Noory in January 2003?  It is the opinion of Stirling Allen that Steven was that inventor.

9.  If Steven really did demonstrate his technology to SEAS between 2002 and 2003 with a view to selling the rights to the TPU was he acting as an agent of Paul Stemm?  This is where things get really murky.  During the December broadcast of George Noory?s Coast To Coast Show Greer said that this inventor was ?unduly influenced by a third party to not cooperate? and ?A corporate lawyer and a business person that had been associated with this inventor stopped the whole transfer dead in its tracks?.  This ?corporate lawyer? and ?business person? sound as if they could be Paul Stemm in which case Steven was acting on his own initiative, but how come he was trying to sell something that did not belong to him?  Also the fact that he was trying to sell the TPU to SEAS contradicts his statement that ?I have never personally sought money for the technology?

10.  Why is Steven living abroad at a secret location?  Has he been threatened or harassed?

11.  In the latest video there are no head shots and no-one is named.  Why do the participants want to conceal their identity?

I'm glad somehow has the guts to stir the pot to see what's happening.

I remember hearing Mr. Greer live on Coast To Coast AM. I have no idea if Steven Marks was the guy, but he sure could be, but I thought Greer said the guy was threatened.

This is so typical. There's always some individual or company that gets our hopes up and then whamo!  We cannot allow these situations to discourage us even if they are legit or not.  If things get out of hand and they totally 100% destroy this industry then yes someone needs to investigate these matters in hopes clearing things up. Is Steorn the next whamo, lol?  Man I sure hope not!!!  If so, then I sure hope people begin to listen that there might be group(s) whose agenda is to distract people away from legitimate devices and destroy this industries reputation.  That's why I am surprised of such very little work on the MEG and now to find there are people spreading false information that the MEG destroys your cells, lol.  In all humor and no offense, but a majority of the people on this forum just might be people with such a fore mentioned agenda.

Let's get thick! Is Steven Greer the same one on the videos here http://www.alienvideo.net/seti-makes-contact.php?
And is he in one of the SM3,6,17 Videos?

Yes, this is the same Steven Greer who has claimed in a radio interview that SETI has made contact.  He is not in any of the Steve Mark videos that I have seen but I believe that SEAS did make a video of Steven demonstrating his device in 2003 and this video may have been made available on the internet for a while.  Someone must have a copy, so I hope that they upload it to Stefan.

The reason I started this thread is because despite the apparant authenticity of the device, the sincerity of Steven in his letters to Lindsay and his plausible explanations of how the device works it is still obvious to me that something strange is going on.  Let's face it.  Neither Steven or his associates are running a business in the normal way.  This could be because they are trying to evade attempts by the US government and vested interests to delay this technology being brought to the market.  However, this is what the conmen always claim to explain their inability to be provide a return for investers.  The Genesis World Energy scam run by Patrick Kelly is an example.  The example of the TPU is different because after 12 years no-one has come forward to claim that Steven and his associates have taken investors money under false pretenses.  In fact there is no evidence that they have solicited funds for investment at all.  So what is going on?  My hypothesis is that Paul Stemm represents the corporate interests who would have most to lose if the TPU was made available to the public and that he made Steven an offer he could not refuse.  According to a former associate of Dennis Lee the going rate for buying out a new energy inventor is $10,000.  This would explain why three years after Paul Stemm is suppsed to have informed SEAS that he was developing the TPU for commercialisation nothing has happened.  This would also explain why Steven tried to give the TPU to SEAS because he new that other avenues to bringing this technology to the public had been blocked.  When that failed he threw his last dice and attempted to put plans on the internet  but not before informing us of how the device worked.  Think about it.  If he was a conman would he go to the trouble of writing ten pages of letters to Lindsay?  If he was sincere then he must have risked his life to bring us the information about the TPU so we owe it to him to make use of this information and bring the TPU to the public just as he wanted.

wow, the thread is up into the 300+ entries, outrageous.

Doesn't Stephen Mark understand that a picture is worth a thousand words?  (in this case over a thousand I think)

I read on that main thread (with the 300+ entries) that some people were suggesting 179 kHz as some mysterious magnetic frequency,

Has anybody looked at the FCC chart to see what's in that band in the US?   Here's a link:    http://www.ntia.doc.gov/osmhome/allochrt.pdf#search=%22radio%20frequency%20spectrum%22

but I'll tell you, its the good old TV CHANNELS  7-13,  which exist in most places in the US.

Steven Mark's device I belive just resonates at some broadcasting frequency and that's where the energy comes from.  Walking outside with the device means nothing, the energy is probably all over his city.

Hi,

Well,  note that you have mixed kHz with MHz ...   Indeed the 179kHz has been mentioned wrt permanent magnets and you try to compare 179kHz to 179MHz (the good old TV channels' frequency)...

Please spare a few minutes to read two articles I referred to YOU in my post in the other thread here:
http://www.overunity.com/index.php/topic,1437.msg14100.html#msg14100    I wonder WHY you try disregarding them?

One more thing: you also try to denounce Steorn's patent. At their own website they clearly state in their FORUM that their granted patent with the sliding magnetic shields has not much connection with their stated device and in fact have filed some more patent applications on their device.

Are you a debunker here?

Under the names of Shaun McCarthy or Steorn, there are no additional European patents, and no US ones that I can find.

good catch Gyula,  I thought it was 170 MHz , missread I guess.   Looks like in the 170 kHz band we have Maritime Mobile/ Fixed comm.  I still belive Steven Mark's device pulls energy from a carrier wave in his neighborhood or city.

For your information I am not a debunker, I am an electrical engineer with a MSEE degree.  I love EM theory that's why I went as far as I went in my education, and I'm on the side of the open minded.  I had numerous discussions with my professors about FE, gravitational anomalies (like at the COSMOS, a tourist attraction in the US, close to the Black Hills where Mt. RushMore is and where people seem to shrink and expand in the field, or so it seems)  I know we don't know all there is about Nature but I love the theory we have developed up to now.   Anybody who belittles the theory is too proud and ignorant in my opinion.   They are saying, I don't care what thousands of people before me have discovered and all the thousands of experiments they have done,  I know better.

I don't take that approach, that's not me,  In my view current knoledge has advanced to a formidable level.  We have all these modern gadgets and all this understanding which works, and us engineers use everyday, and yes we even realize there is free energy all around that we need to find a way to tap.  I too am fed up with the oil industry, I feel helpless when they change prices on me and we go to wars to secure a stable oil supply  (little politics there :)

I have read your links, it does not contradict what I said earlier.  Materials can be nonliner and feromagnetic materials are (we usualy operate them in the linear region, but there are special cases I suppose)  but as far as Mag and E fields go they are linear, they add up regardless of the medium they are in.   A detailed analysis will reveal that all the power comes from the coil that couples to an output coil and not from some third party flux source like a magnet.

I must confess, I too have failed my calling, I got too exicted a while back and built a device with 2 coils at 90 degrees , so they have not coupling between them, and added a magnet to the mix so its flux is normal to one of the coils, trying to answer the fundamental question, CAN THERE BE INDIRECT COUPLING?   Well by experiment I found out that there was no indirect coupling.   Then I did an analysis and realized, how foolish I was, I mistrusted the theory.   You see trying to reinvent the wheel wastes time.  These principles of EM are well established now for over a century or so, lots of people before us have already asked these questions and done the experiments,  I look for new things that's where its at.  If nobody has walked a path before then perhaps there is something new waiting around the corner for me to discover.

So Yes,  I encourage experimentation, but with the above qualifiers so that we don't wast time and walk a worn out path.

Thanks for your answer.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for searching, I have also done so and ended up with no hit. BUT this is WHY I wrote above patent applications of Steorn and NOT patents already granted.
They say : http://www.steorn.net/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=17601&page=1#Item_0  and go down to the middle section of that long page:

Steorn   Time Sep 27th 2006
Question:
How long before the first applications will be released to a larger audience?

Answer:
There are multiple patents on the technology (we continue to file patents). I cannot say when these applications come into the public domain, we are not in control of the patent process.

Regards
Gyula

you should not take the statements in the videos too seriously.  This is just Steven's sales patter for would be investers.  Maybe everyone should archive all the letters from Steven on their hard drive and study them over and over.

Steven has answered one question himself in his latest letter to Lindsay.  Of course he has not sold the rights to the TPU to Paul Stemm as one of the Australian group suggested.  Obviously he must still have an interest in the TPU as a shareholder becuase these shares could one day be worth more than $10 million.  Therefore I accept his statement that he has never profited from the TPU, although I expect he received directors expenses from UEC when he was doing demonstrations.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes. Has the media (television, radio etc) been made aware of these videos? If so what has been the reaction? As my username says I am no expert. In fact I know very little about electronics. It seems unbelievable to me that something so important remains unknown to the vast majority of people. This should be made known to the general population.
