My  opinion    : ...IF you play variable leverage with two eccentered masses , only...

 Here is the first version of the approach I posted awhile back. It uses 2 but I have done test with 1 arm. They tend to have a side drag that stops them from working. Is it beatable to go perpetual? Possible but don't show much hope for strength. Other applications are possible for other designs but again they will have the same drag effect that slows them down. But you can get a nice run time with them. 8)

     We intend to maintain the torque difference ( gravity unbalance ) on the same side of the fulcrum , and so , a possible continuous rotation of this simple double leverage.
      The red mass plays a constant arm.
      The green mass plays a variable arm , if paired with the blue mass.

It's no "IF". It does not run by itself.
If you isolate the pendulum, the only thing that makes the "rotor" unbalanced, would you imagine that this pendulum will repeat cycles just by itself? I guess you'll say "No".
Again, as I have told others repeatedly: A mass that is limited to travel within a given altitude does not gain potential or kinetic energy.
In other words; There are no powersource in gravity.

 Because the movie shows three masses ( pendulum/eccentered mass + balanced lever/two equal arms,two equal masses ) , there is no hope to play a continuous unbalance ...
 A seesaw is a gravity game with two partners/ masses ,only...
 Exceeding what is necessary or natural is truth that lost its temper,if not the failure to find it.

The vertical movement of the weights, does move inside a boundary. As long this movement is limited by this boundary, you cannot harness exsess energy. Gravity pulls on objects only vertically, and no device can "trick" gravity to act differently.


The device will not work. Do the math, and you'll be convinced ;-)
