The government must have decided chemtrails are too slow at darkening our skies.

It appears that they have hidden from us the true purpose of Solar Panels. They actually drain the energy from the sun.

This news article discusses it.

http://nationalreport.net/solar-panels-drain-suns-energy-experts-say/

This is terrible news.

hope you and no one else is so stupid as to believe that bunch of BS.  from the article

"Solar panels destroying the sun could potentially be the worst man-made climate disaster in the history of the world, and Halliburton
will not be taking part in that, the company stated in a press release issued Friday morning. It's obvious, based on the findings of this
neutral scientific research group, that humans needs to become more dependent on fossil fuels like oil and coal, not less.  Because
these so-called `green technologies are far more dangerous to the Earth than any hydrofracking operation or deep-water drilling station.
What good is clean air when our very sun is no longer functional? - See more at:

Halliburton ?   ding ding ... anyone home?   former VP Cheney - Big Oil.   trying to tell us fracking and big oil and coal is better and safer
than solar  ROTFLOL !!!     Sucking energy from the Sun like a vaccuum ?   LOL   they are just getting scared at the recent advancements
in solar .... promising solar at 10 cents / watt.   for only a thousand dollars you could have 10,000 watts of solar panels.   1420 comments
on that article and it seems not a single person is buying that bunch of horsesh** based on the ones I've read so far.   oh and a think tank
in Cheyenne Wyoming - HAHAHA.   paid a bunch of 'bacco chewing cowboys to think this one up ?   Too funny.   does Halliburton really
think people are that stupid?   i even doubt the legitimacy of this article.  more like it is so stupid it was probably written as a joke.

oh and if you are serious curiouschris i guess no one will have trouble guessing who you work for.   only question is it british ptroleum ?  halliburton?  shell oil?  texaco?   maybe exxon?

I'm not believing the baloney in the article.

But I have my own concerns about large solar farms that cover a lot of ground. Using logic, imagine several 10 of acres covered by solar panels where previously the sun would heat the ground over a very large single area. With the panels blocking the suns heat and light the ground temps will change, and that would draw energy from around to equalize the temp maybe affecting the ecosystem for some area around it, vegetation would reduce probably leading to higher thermal losses and erosion problems in some area's. For considerations sake if we went to extremes, what would be the effect of covering all the deserts in solar panels ?

A roof covered in solar panels is still a good idea, I'm just not sure of solar farms and large scale wasteful geothermal ect. I like the weather warm to hot, I hate the cold, so I'm no fan of cooling the earth.

We already know that hydro electric "dams" cause a significant environmental impact due to restricting the water flow and the backing up of water from the dams often floods a lot of very fertile land which was previously along the flood plain or rivers sides as well as long lived animal habitat, that includes the human animal's habitat as well.

Cheers

There is something very scarey here.

The majority of VOTING CITIZENS in this country (USA) have so little physics education or understanding that they dont know the difference. If a poll were taken using people at random, the voting citizenry would not disagree with the absurd concept of photon-sucking.

If Big Oil somehow got a ban on solar panels on the voting ballot (for the first time in history public officials could be bribed to get it on the ballot), it could pass and be voted into law. The majority of the voting public are not sure if the Earth goes around the Sun or if the Sun goes around the Earth.

Same for any exotic kind of OU Free Energy new technology. The majority of the voting public on the entire planet have so little physics education (most often through no fault of their own) that a vote against any kind of new technology could be set up and turn out in favor of banning anything except good ole Big Oil and Big Coal and Big Whatever.

I think the bad news has begun to hit the fan.

Don't Worry Cangas and Farmhand

Soon we will have energy to spare. If the burn out the sun or turn the ground frigid by covering it with solar panels we will soon be able to reverse the effect

See my mathematical proof for MEP!

I wonder if someone would care to estimate the number of electron-miles that may have been expent on delivering the ordure in this thread to its participants.

I have read that the sun consumes 700 million tons of
hydrogen per second and has been doing this long
before any solar panels hit the scene. It still consumes
700 million tons of hydrogen per second as we speak.

oh i did my research curiouschris and see that you try to make a mokery of new concepts and essentially go trollish and take a negative slant on everything that comes along.   I suggest you ask for a raise from your oil buddies.   see my post here about what your future holds:  http://www.overunity.com/14678/trolls-skeptics-cynics-negative-thinkers-your-future-is-lmited/msg404515/#new

Trollish. That is oh such an insult.

And from someone who made the statement that the claim in this thread is stupid. How do you know that solar panels don't drain the sun? according to you and most on this forum physicists and scientists lie and deceive every day and have done so for centuries at the behest of our governments.

I declare it is you that is trolling this thread. Claiming I must be stupid to believe this.

How can I be stupid compared to other posters in this forum? Didn't you see that I have just invented MEP. With just a COP of 2 it can power the world, or just your house.

Now it is up to you to prove that my MEP claim  is bogus or real?

The reasoning behind my claim is mathematically solid. It relies on the principles that you and most other posters in this forum believe in.

You have a choice.

Denounce your beliefs in OU, and declare MEP false. OR continue to believe and declare MEP true and ultimately workable.

Which is it?

When you make that decision I want you to write a reply detailing your decision and what you based it on.

Is this the Jokes page ?

Solar panels in desert = more shadow = more condensed water = more life.  8)

Do we have to get rid of all plant life as well they use photons.... oh wait they make oxygen, best leave them you wouldn't be able to burn the oil.  ;)

Come on sun you can do it.  ;D

I totally agree with you Sir.  This reminds me of an article I read where it was "claimed" that running cars on water would remove all water from the earth.  Really?  Since water is the by-product of the combustion...um...well....

Also, this reminds me of some misguided folks that think that CO2 is bad.  CO2 makes green plants grow better and....yes...they emit oxygen, the same stuff we need to survive.

There is a total lack of any physics understanding thanks to our schools being taken over by a bunch of idiots.

I tried to explain to someone the other day that was concerned about water on the earth.  I told him that the only water that has ever left the earth was in NASA missions to the moon...etc.  He was concerned that we may have used too much water in the space program and we are now running out.

Also, if I turn my radio on, does that make the radio station have to boost their power output?  No.  The station broadcasts using the same amount of power if 1 radio is on, or 100,000 radios are on.  Same with the sun.  The energy is ejected and, what happens to it after that does NOT effect the sun.  Geeze!
