Just seen it last night. Laser is the man. ;)   Wish he had time to hang out over here or even at his forum. Would love to pick his brain. ;D

Its such a simple build.  The only thing I dont have is the cores. Will get some though. So simple.

       I get an error message that this video is 'Unavailable' at the YouTube end.   They say, "Sorry about that."
 
Can you upload a reverse engineered schematic of the circuit?

I just tried it again & it comes up immediately on my Windows Chrome Browser.

       Okay, it looks like you have a point.   I had to do it on another computer, other than the first one, but it did work the second time on Google Chrome.
Having looked at the video, I can partly answer my original question:  There is no schematic that's shown in the video by the presenter.


So, my original question still stands:  Is there a schematic anywhere that goes with that circuit?

       Very good, Gyula, thank you.   That is a large Joule Thief that does run on several batteries taped together, from what I see on the original video.   I didn't see a number of coil turns count for the high voltage secondary.   Really fine wire is what's called for, and a lot of it is required for a high-enough output voltage.   Good hunting.   I saw the schematic.                 --Lee
