Pickup coil and toroid winding service?
« on: September 26, 2013, 12:58:06 AM »
Hello

Can anyone tell me of a reliable and inexpensive "coil winding" company/person.

I'd like to have a couple of toroids and pickup coils wound.

Thanks

Carlos

Hey Carl

Most people here end up winding their own coils.  ;) So there might not be anyone here that can give a good recommendation. Now, unless you are wanting something exotic or out of the norm, then you might find what you need already made out there. Parts express? Newark?   ;) If you do a search, Im sure you can find someone or a company that can do what you need. 1sies and 2sies may not be cheap vs ordering large numbers, but you may get what you want.  But I cant give any recommendations as I never ordered custom coils to say one way or another.

If you find any that you might want to deal with, you can post some links here and we can look at them and give thumbs up or down from what we see, as there are many experienced people here. ;D

If you contact some companies that make wire and or cores, they may have customers that do what you need and they will recommend the best they know. ;)   Good luck ;D
