@markdansie:

You write "The motives and intent are I believe genuine ....".

Well, I am sure it is a scam. The truely sad fact is that the law in the USA allows this "business". Indiegogo is plagued by scammers.

OK-so now i think i have this down pat.
We take a whole lot of others video's on underunity machine's,splice them altogether, add some writen dribble and start rakeing in the cash.

Like you said-if one of us ever has something that will actualy work, and need funding-it'll be all dried up,as the public would have seen the light by then.

Wonder if i could do a fund raiser, and get enough to get to the bahama's to test an overunity coconut.

Hehehe good one, In my opinion when the thing does not work or nothing is produced in due time they should be made an example of, of what to look for in a crowd funding scam.
Their folly should be made as public as possible by us, the experimenters and our helpers.

If they actually had something crowd funding would be the last thing they should be asking for. If it was me I would get a loan and file for patent. Because it would be drawing real existing energy from some source and this would be demonstrable in practice. A true invention. Make copies of the plans and make someone else understand it under NDA, but they remain unknown. Then if the MIB come and shoot me the plans get released on the net in many places overnight. This would be made known in public, so as to negate the use of the MIB it would be useless for them. Not that I believe the MIB do such things but it is a concern to some. They do not concern me, I do not fear the thought of them. Fear is a tool for control. And I do not seek wealth and fame. Just a better world. And peace for all peoples.

Cheers

@Farmhand: why do you need the patent if you do not seek wealth and fame?

Very simple answer Conrad
To stop others taking it,and profiting from it-no patent=no protection=open slather

Well, so you want power or control over the world saving invention? Very good for peace?

OK Conrad,i will try and explain how it is.
If you invent a device, and some one takes your design to the patent office, and files a patent-it then become's there property, and the inventor cannot do a thing about it.
The thieves then become the controllers of your invention.
So no,it's not about having power over the world, its about stoping others from having that power over your invention.

If you just publish the "invention" once in any country nobody can ever take out a patent about it.

Everything published in the universe before the filing date is prior art.

The patent office might not find a particular publication (because it was published in an obscure journal in Absurdistan in a rare language), but every body can kill (appeal or nullify) the falsely granted patent with this publication (if it was published at least one day before the filing date). It might cost some money to fight a patent based on pre-published technology, but it is possible.

But a good "OU machine" could be published in big daily newspapers (just place an advertisement for a few hundred Dollars) or on the internet, so the patent office and everybody else will find it.

So, the only reason to file a patent is money and control. One prevents a patent by publishing the invention. This is not my opinion, it is a fact.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defensive_publication, IBM does it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Technical_Disclosure_Bulletin

You can also do it at the patent office: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statutory_invention_registration (Nowadays you just drop your patent application and it becomes a "defensive publication")

Please inform yourself about the patent system before dreaming up your own fantasy world.

@Farmhand: why do you need the patent if you do not seek wealth and fame?

Greetings, Conrad

Several reasons Conrad,

1) because the sooner someone patents a device harnessing significant energy from a new source the better, it would confirm the reality that it can be done and stir a lot of research and focus it.

2) I would be able to get royalties from people manufacturing and selling for profit so I could better equip myself and do more things, while at the same time allowing people to build their own for personal use, which I think is already legal anyway. Anyone can build any patented device and use it at home, they just cannot make profit from it, unless they pay the patent holder or the patent holder allows them to by not enforcing the patent. As it is I go without a lot just so I can buy stuff to experiment, I'm on a disability pension.
I would need a building permit to erect a high tower as well as pay for labor and materials. I've got things I would like to do.  :)

3) I would be daring someone to come and threaten me to try to stop me doing it.  8) I have dark glasses and a suit too, but I am not MIB. I am a man that can wear black suit and dark glasses if I want. Anyone can.

4) Being recognized for inventing something is not what I call fame, it's recognition.

5) A patent does no mean fame and fortune anyway. Many patent holders get nothing, no one might use it commercially until the patent expires anyway.

I could probably think of more. But the main one is validation. People can do patent searches and find it.

Thanks for making me choke on my saltine cracker!

But you may be on to something.  There's alot of energy in coconut oil....and the vast majority of the population are simply unaware of coconut water's fragile state of being, which partially accounts for the tough, thick shell.

(Pssst, don't let the cat out of the bag, but coconut water can be fractured at the drop of a hat.)

Hope you don't mind if I kickstart this puppy all the way to Fiji on the "Oasis of the seas".  Wooo!

Pardon me, but is Mai Tai straight?

Tinman, Coconuts are free energy, the "copra" was a valuable commodity in past times.

Copra (dried coconut meat)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copra

The energy required to produce copra would be small compared to the energy it could provide. The tree harvests the free energy from the sun and put's some in each coconut, the Wiki even says that copra is prone to be spontaneously combustive. And is classed as "dangerous goods".

Now if we simply pick up a coconut crack it open and process the thing efficiently I'll bet the oil would contain more energy than it took to get it, otherwise it would be a waste of time even processing them.

There is free energy in coconuts as long as you don't need to buy them. Everything is free until some human puts a price on it.

Cheers

P.S. Looks like the stuff just gives off a lot of heat all by itself.  ;D See link and quote below. Now I am wondering if it might be energetic enough and destabilize into something that could be used for "rocket fuel". I'm researching alternative rocket fuels as it happens. Both solid and liquid. Just for run I'm planning to build a liquid fueled alcohol - H2O2 rocket engine. When i get the required parts for my new TIG welding machine and plasma cutter. H2O2 and bleach makes O2 (oxygen). Something fun for some adrenaline.
Maybe some component of the coconut meat can be used for part of a solid fuel mix.

The poor thermal conductivity of extraction meal is also of significance to self-heating. Self-heating may occur simultaneously at various points within the cargo and continue to such an extent that carbonization (release of hydrogen, leaving carbon behind) occurs. The resultant fine-pored carbon has the characteristic of starting to smolder when exposed to oxygen.

ad 2) I do not condem "making a profit", I just would like to leave "world saving" and "I do not do it for me" out of the discussion. I accuse everybody of self interest, also myself. And I can not easily stand the self proclaimed world savers and samaritans.

"Validation by patenting": the patent office does not check whether the device functions or not. Only naive persons think that a patent proves anything besides having paid the fees.

But it is not very interesting to discuss an OU device, possible motives and viable routes for action before having an OU device.

And I have seen too many people in the OU forums discussing what to do with an OU device before even coming close to one.

O.k. I believe you will do good with an OU device. Now, please build one and then we take it from there.

Greetings, Conrad
