UPDATE: Latest SmartPAK/ZPOD Tests: COP of 110%
« on: August 25, 2005, 09:10:30 PM »
Hello all,

I just updated the SmartPAK/ZPOD webpage:
http://intalek.com/Index/Projects/SmartPAK/SmartPAK.htm

The latest tests indicated a COP of 110%!!!

I included a diagram, Fig. 2, showing how SmartPAK calculates COP in real-time. The calculation is performed using a Motorola MC68HC908GP32 microcontroller.

I also included a diagram, Fig. 5, showing the signature of excess FREE ENERGY available for harvesting.

Just an interesting footnote, when I switched batteries, I observed a percent or two difference in COP. I suspect this difference is due to battery efficiency.

Bill

(snip)

Well... let's hope it works better than your link does. I get a 404 error, and when I go up a level or two I don't see any such page listed under /Projects.

ETA: Now I see why. Since 2005, when this page was last UPDATED, seven and a half years ago.... you've made lots of progress, haven't you.

Now, what I'd like to see from these charge-run systems is simply this: the _AVERAGE_ voltage of the two batteries plotted against time.  Have a voltmeter constantly hooked to each battery, and at every sample interval, like every minute, add those indicated voltages together and divide by two to get the average of the two batteries. Does the average value of the voltages of the two batteries increase over time, or does it decrease?

Does the device eventually stop running, or not? When it stops, does it stop because _both_ batteries are overcharged? Or does it stop because both batteries are depleted, in spite of the calculations that show 110 percent OU performance?

TK,

I think Bill gave up on that stuff long ago. Now he is (or was) hosting a talk show.
