Hi all, the results are looking consistent.
This latest test run, the duration was 4 hours 16 minutes.
44.84 total watt hours used during testing and swapping.
32 watt hours used by led load, in split positive position.
23.9 watt hours used to recharge both lithium ion battery packs, back to 4.2 volts per cell.
Total system efficiency = 1.88 COP
Led load efficiency = 1.34 COP
It may be possible to gain more efficiency, by using a load in the split positive position,
that is more within the c20 rate of these particular lithium ion cells.
I think these results are due to the high charging efficiency of lithium ion cells.
Where as, if we were using lead acid, the led load efficiency would probably be below COP 1.
Thoughts, questions or comments are appreciated.
