JOULE THIEF with variable count of led
« on: December 19, 2012, 06:24:33 PM »
Hi all . ..
In the first I want to thank every one how was helped to make the JT
I made many JT : with one , tow . . . , 10 white led and now a don with 50 white led
Because I am not a professional in electric I do the flowing :
1- ferrite core 1 inch
2- transistor 547 NPN type
3- variable resistance ( for one led 1K)like the voice key of  the radio
I use a variable Resistance (key voice ) to select the optimum light   ( from 3 led`s until to 50 led`s ) that main to me the optimum resistance
But the led`s not  bright very well  , I connected  the led`s  on parallel , so when I but more led`s its go to decrease the light, when I but the led`s on serial it`s not work I don`t know WHY ?? I thing the problem in the on resistance, how I can get the optimum resistance ? and how I can get more bright?
please can  help me ?
Thank for all
My regards
