Nick,
I warned you way back that those small slabs have insufficient capacity for the experimenting you are doing. They need to be re-charged using a proper SLA battery charger before the terminal voltage drops below around 11.5V on load, otherwise damage to the battery can result over time. A couple of car batteries would be more suitable.

Hoppy,

Now we understand why Nick his first priority is "Feedback selfrunning loop"  rather then make the system first explodes his bulbs...... He doesn't like batteries... ::)

On the schematic Geo uploaded there are 4 main differencies from the rest of circuits:

1) The "katcher" circuit - instead of having complex on/off switching the power supply of circuit is simply going on/off on needed moment. And the power transistor is MOSFET instead of bipolar. Which is going straight to the ground on the gate instead of secondary coil going to the transistor to the ground. The mosfet input needs some protection feedback in the Emitter/Souce circuit like a triac
going to pin 3 of a HS current driver for over current or good by driver and expensive mos-fet.

2) The way whole coils are placed. On the picture, they ALL have windings onto the same direction with the new layer beginning from the same place as previous. And the top 4 layers are equal length + they are another half-length with long coils in total. What is more important here the number of windings or the wire length as the top layers will be a different frequency.
3) The connection between the Tesla coil is involving capacitor in series. Which makes perfect sense for stepping up the voltage in series resonance.
4) The all parts of the circuit (push-pull/on-off cycle of Tesla/output of grenade coil with a capacitor in parallel) are calculated to resonate on the same frequency. This includes Tesla coil which is also resonating on 17th harmonics upwards for that frequency.

Note after talking with Gyula regarding tuning it appears the caps don't want to know about it! WGO here?  as you get more power the current goes up and have 90deg phase shift after some messing around. But SNoEfct. ;D ;D thought Wesley worshiped 90deg apposed coils what am I doing wrong ? :) ;) :D ;D :(
So here goes nothing.... :) get this one working first

Cheers!

Well apecore, I only had a couple of years time to make the bulbs explode, but in that time, I got everything else to explode, except the bulbs. But, I'm back at it again. How about you?  Maybe take the deco art down and fire it up? Tuned to Radio Moscow...
I guess that I've been waiting for you guys with all the trick controlable Kacher circuits, to show me up.   I'm Still Waiting...
EDIT:  Ok, last night I finally got my induction circuit to change frequencies when I place different tuning caps on the C1 and C2.  I had to change both caps at the same time, otherwise, the frequency would not change by much.
Any way, it's kind of fun to be back at the controls, tuning knobs, again. After that mayor burp with Ruslan's X wire stunt.   A couple more years like this, and I should have it up and running by itself.  Yes, I hate batteries.

You will need to make peace with batteries Nick if you are serious about self-running loop-back.  ;D

Right,...  giving them continously a small amout of charge......not to much not to less.
So they stay fit for use for more then 10 years.

Greetings

I'll be so happy when I won't need batteries, at all.

how would you start the motion? they all need the energy to start the motion, will yours have a starter handle on the side?

As a matter of interest has anyone seen IVO's energy reducing device he got from Nelson? think it needs a (dare I say it a battery) unless it has a hidden starter handle to crank? 8)

My dear Mr AlienGrey.

Aren't you forgetting our hero TH Moray? His " starting handle " was a magnet stroked about a coil.

Cheers Graham.

Yes your absolutely right it had 2 horseshoe magnets, anything to excite the initial start up an exciter.
my dad uses to collect all that type of stuff, I bet my sister has junked all that stuff.

And so did Steven Marks, but that won't start this baby.   Like I said, I hate batteries, but love solar panels, wind generators, etz... the last thing I worry about is how to just start the thing.

Make sure to use recyclable batteries just like this guy did.

Hi Nick.

Your remarks on solar PV ring true.

I've recently installed a 3rd 1 KW string to my existing 2 KW system and have just passed the 400KWh mark. Despite the rather poor weather, 400 KWh in 6 weeks is fantastic, don't you think?

It's one of the major reasons why I don't get involved here at OU.Com much anymore.

Cheers Graham.

sounds great Graham how big are they ? they are usually great on a roof but one guy was showing me a panel in a field where if he got shade on any part it kills its output.

The other thing is he was saying 50% is lost in rechargeable batteries and conversion costs as well, they are ok but you only need some yob chucking stones and it's your panel gone.

Cheers AG
