The earth cable is now strapped to the pole because it not supported by going through the hole in the pole as in the earlier video. The white cable has now re-appeared on the pole! No attempt is made to look inside the boxes for batteries. Where's all the Tesla coil eye candy gone. C'mon Wesley, who do you think they are going to convince with that nonsense video.

Yes, a cable has more than one insulated conductor.

Yes, technically a cable can be a number of non-insulated conductors / wires / strands. However, I believe that Akula's cable is not of the construction in your clip.

I dunno; it'd be hard to find a shot that would show it was even 2 strand lamp wire... it's obviously fiarly havey; maybe 3 condutor extension cord cable... but at the end it's not like there was a split that was then twisted together...  and yes, could have pushed the insulation up a ways before stripping the inner shielding, so it would loook like 1 round cover to conductor ... but then  still... 


the cable may not be quite that fine; the other examples were like stranded 14 gauge conductors... but I guess they could ask their friend the sort of qualty the cable was in-hand.

Edit: I dunno it might even be high voltage cable ... seems to have pretty thick insulation.. that it's not that thick of wire inside... it squishes down to like nothing

Akula is emotional and that what I like to see in people.

  Here's a couple of pics of the ongoing feed back loop tuning that I'm working on.
  It shows the volt meter reading 12v now on the feed back loop, while connecting a 24v 18w DC bulb. IF that meter reading can be trusted.
There are also 5 100w bulbs being lit.
  The secondary coil of the flyback is now only using one turn on each side of the center tap to obtain the 12v readings that are being shown in the images.
  The center tap coil moved from the best position when I took the picture. Higher feed back output was obtain when moving it back as it should have been.
Also by spreading the same center tap single turn coils further apart I obtained slightly higher bulb brightness, but the same 12v voltage readings.
