USPTO Grants Patent on LENR Technology
« on: September 15, 2012, 09:35:58 PM »
I've read that NASA successfully applied for two LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reaction) patents recently. But then they're NASA. Generally the US patent office looks at cold fusion or LENR applications like they do perpetual-motion machines, and so denies them outright.

That said, last July, Dr. George Miley, received US patent #8227020, on his breakthrough LENR work.

More great news for the LENR's cheap, clean energy industry....soon to be at a store near you.

Thing is, will NASA 'allow' the tech to be used in the US other than their own use? It can work as a 'block' to not allow it to be sold here in the US. They dont have to license it to anyone.

Or, will we now have household products 'Made By NASA' ?

Good questions, Magluvin.

I did further research today and only discovered one patent applied for by a Dr. Joseph Zawodny of NASA.

Check here: http://cold-fusion.ca/nasa-associate-applies-for-lenr-related-patent-132000

Here is a brief Youtube video of what he has to say regarding LENR: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBlKc0TaqPs

That said, there is at least one company that appears to be far ahead of the main group of LENR companies. They were just granted a patent from China, and have many other applications pending from around the world, including the anal retentive US.

They have solved the main problems of LENR, which is two fold. 1. Turning the reaction instantly on and off. 2. Having a precisely controlled reaction.

These are problems which have plagued cold fusion from the beginning, and which fucked the whole thing up 20 years ago.
