To the left of carbon on the row of nickel are zinc, copper, nickel,cobalt, iron, manganese, chromium, vanadium, titanium....I don't know your criteria for choosing nickel or titanium in partner with your carbon.

I don't know what you mean by opposite of its natural state. Perhaps you can describe your setup.

crystals are used in piezo electrics    .Your hard work in search for HH+O is well appreciated .You can get a much better result by replicating Paul Patone' theory with-out electricity and all the chemical troubles. You can also try Keshe project which is a system of nano tech. Try to browse Keshe projects on u-tube before it is supressed ! Cheers . Dave114

im curious about the "carbon electrodes" you are using?

what exactly are they?
many of the electrodes commercially available comprised of a carbon (graphite+/-) powder
and a binder is added to form them into a particular shape or size.

more rare is an electrode forged of elemental carbon,
metallic in nature, and very expensive

ive never gotten my hands on the latter

carbon-composite electrodes, like the ones removed from Lead-Acid Batteries
are generally what I used. I experimented with all sorts of corrodible elements,
before just going back to the battery rods. they come in all sizes and I never saw one corrode.

although I wasn't pushing 12 amps through pure H2o and tartar salt...
my units were all using unfiltered tap water, no electrolyte, intended for use by anyone
(the only deposits I found over time, was this white crusty calcium-chloride substance)
considerably less current, at 6 and 12v, I was able to produce a lot of gas quickly
the best of mine were circular configurations with asymmetrical number of + or - electrodes.
i.e. one large one, surrounded by 4-6 smaller electrodes.
using carbon/carbon  , and dividers in the upper part of the container divided the gasses

Hi .
I tried to use graphite with approximately 36 to 42 volts ac in water with-out any electrolyte . Bingo it were really big bubbles out . The size of the bubbles are determined between the distance of the graphite .
With all this i think we are running after the wind . The best bet is to replicate Mr Paul Pattone reactor . It is cheap and easy to make . If you are interested i may post you a diagram or sketch of  .Wish you a very happy year 2016 .

Thanks for the diagram, but french tech terms are hard to understand.

Anyway, proper, pure graphite is sold as stirring rods for metal melting cruicibles on ebay.

Carbon rods in old carbon-zinc AA Batteries may also be useful.

Question: if distilled water has a PH of 4, is it neccessary to add eg. potassium carbonate at all? As far as I know, acidic or basic water is automaticly "ionized" and capable of electrolysis.

BTW. thanks for all the tests, tho they were done in 2012, still very useful.

That being said, I am leaning more towards direct H1 production, so I'll start a new thread ...

Hi this is Dave1148,
I read your post and i am happy that at least i have found one truthful and honest person other than Mr Eric D.......
I am making some tests these days with 316ss and my results are not good to that of yours.
  However instead of using carbon for the anode ,did you tried graphite !

Graphite wont work. I've tried it. Carbon is the best solution I've found but I feel there is a better way that I'm not thinking of. What do others think can replace Carbon here.
