 ::) pffft, As you can see my friend there is no working prototype. Even with all those fancy cad pics, the theory could very well fail. I am sure that much thought went into this and many people believe in it, but there must be the real thing in action in order to persuade me. ;D

Does anyone know how to use FEM i just downloaded it, and the tutoriol is 112 pages long, so i'll get back to this in a hot minute....

This is an old posting that has been around for dunno how long. It is all theory with not even a basic unit having been made to my knowledge.

Beautiful computer simulations, but I can say from first-hand experience that it doesn't work. I built the one pictured at www.geocities.com/k_pullo/magnetic/rotor.jpg.
Lots of forces at play, but they all cancel out, with no net force left. Too much symmetry. Oh well, better luck next time . . .
