Nine years ago while doing research for a way to extract energy from magnetism I thought back to my forth grade school days and how I was intrigued at how a magnet on a metal file cabnet took work to get it off the cabnet but that it would slide up and down the cabnet side with very little effort. I wondered during my research if I could somehow use that sliding to get free energy from magnetism. After testing and posting video's to the web and to Youtube when it came on line I needed to give this principle a name. I came up with and was first to coin the phrase "Pseudo Solid Magnetics". I called it that because the principle uses magnetic field conducting materials that number two or more to form what in effect cause the magnetic source, permanent magnet or other to behave as though it was moving through a solid material not two or more. The pieces are placed flush so that the field moves from one piece to the other in a smooth transition with no drag increase, or work needed to move the magnetic source as you would when moving to an air gap or material not as conductive to the magnetic field. Also I found magnets placed with field conductors such as steel at each pole could move away and toward each other without the repulsion or attraction force coming into play as compared to moving the same distance across an air gap or other gap that was less conductive than the steel. I posted and still have many video's of the testing on Youtube. It has opened up we in the group believe a way to control a magnetic field in a way that allows for the extraction of energy from a magnetic source such as a permanent magnet that has as a positive energy net result. Some refer to this as "free energy". We are finding many ways to experience this with different designs and will continue doing research to find the most practical and efficient way to configure an operating system. We are changing our name to
LaFonte Pseudo Solid Magnetics Research Group. I used the term Pseudo because it is a material that for practical purposes appears as one
piece but is made up of two or more pieces but allows the magnetic source for practical purposes to interact with the material as though it were a single, solid piece. I have attached an example of one simple cycle we are working with now. We are also working on a closed loop system where the magnets never enter into an air gap during the cycle and will post today or tomorrow. Note: The magnet poles need to have an air gap between the magnet pole surface and the conducting material to eliminate drag due to friction between the two surfaces.
We have been using .005" in our tests. Will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Butch LaFonte

This has a color coding error on magnets, I corrected it and the new post is below.
Sorry,
Very tired, Butch

Rotary Orbit 2, Pseudo Solid Magnetics, LaFonte Group, Really Cool Machine

This is one neat machine! Rotor assembly orbits between two outer disks and causes inter disks to orbit center axis. Pseudo Solid effect eliminates drag on rotor.

Have We for Sure Found A Way To Get Free Energy From Magnets?
« Reply #9 on: February 02, 2012, 07:48:24 PM »
In A the magnets are pulled in.  In B the plates are pulled together.  In C the magnets turn 90 degrees and separate the two plates by repulsion.  In D the air gap is filled by the bar and it is actually pulled in forming a pseudo solid.  In E the magnets are removed from the plates assembly.  In F the cycle is ready to repeat but in the opposite direction.  Thats 4 positive work cycles and 1 negative.  Butch See attached drawing

It seems to me that the bar in D is not pulled in, but instead repelled/prevented to enter the gap. If the two magnets had opposite polarity, the bar would be pulled in (Like approaching an iron piece into the magnetic gap in a speaker magnet). In this case the iron bar would be attracted to the sides, but prevented to enter between.
Have you tried this in practice - just to see what happen in phase D?

Yes we have tested that it does get pulled in.

The first law of thermodynamics says that energy cannot be created or destroyed.  End of story.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is WRONG.

Why do you think that after 500 years a free energy machine still hasn't been invented yet?

I can tell you already that without looking at these magnets, that they will NEVER produce ANY over-unity.

And the Earth is flat - period.  ;D

No. The earth is round - like a pizza ;)
