High Pressure Air Wind turbine
« on: February 28, 2012, 12:22:55 AM »
So I've been posting some news on my HPA wind turbine compressor.  I am constructing a wind turbine that outputs up to 3500psi air and is under 1000 dollars.

here is the forum link.  I don't intend for everyone to redirect over there.  I just am looking for some input.  Is anyone interested in a wind turbine that doesn't put out electricity that uses a oil less high pressure 3 stage compressor?  Output is a high pressure hose with swivel into a storage area with used cng tanks.  We designed this to run the air in our facility which costs us the most electricity.  We have enough storage in the 8 cng tanks to power the facility (minus heat) for 3 days.  We have a steady 1.3kw draw.  But I wanted to find out if this is something people would pursue since compressed air is much cleaner for the environment than lead batteries.  Also we thought that people understand mechanics much better than electronics.  There seems to be a large volume of used good quality high pressure tanks around the U.S as well.
