Offtopic: Invest in Gold now!
« on: June 17, 2006, 09:28:18 AM »
This goes out to erverybody in this forum:
Please invest in gold, silver or other commodities if you don't want to lose a lot/all of your money.
I know this may sound ridiculous for many people who are not interested in economics,
but for those who are interested, the facts are quite obvious.
For further information read this article and you will understand what I mean.

Heck, the way that guy talks in that article, it may be time to invest in an underground bunker, firearms and 30years worth of MREs!

Owning 'futures' or certificates won't help... that's just paper too.  :)
The better thing to do (in the usa) is to stop voting based on issues like gay marriage and start voting to change the system.  Of course it's probably too late.   :o

For most of us here, it would probably be more practical to buy silver, esp. American silver eagles. They are currency with a face value of one dollar but are one ounce of silver, so monetarily, when the crunch time hits, we will have the purchasing power of the silver but only have to pay the tax on a dollar!  ;)
I already bought some, and now is another great time to get some more... The dollar is quickly losing its steam, get silver, buy the coins, or you might be taking home wheelbarrels full of money to buy your bread ala Germany...

Taking steps to become self sufficent is always prudent.  The financial systems of the world (including gold and silver) are all controlled and these financial systems have corrupted themselves.  Consider instead, becoming a farmer/rancher.  You might not be rich, but at least you won't go hungry.  It is kind of hard to eat silver or gold.  In your spare time, make a magnet motor to generate your own power.   :)

That's right - if you have the chance to produce your own food will be definitely an advantage for the next few month.
And if the Bush regime really is crazy enough (and I'm afraid it is) to attack Iran then probably the best strategy for the near future really is a combination of an underground bunker, farmer/rancher and a magnet motor... :o

Sept.,2001 Usama Bin Laden-group destroyed the World Trade Center Twin Towers,
but some weeks later "GOLDMANN SACHS" publicated the resume
of their US-economy future-study:
In short form-frisch,frech,frei,frivol-"Good bye,USA!".

Usama destroyed a part of New York City,
Goldmann Sachs destroyed the U.S.A.-economical-future !!!
The indigenos will survive the"white US period" !

Cheers

Sorry LancaIV but Usamo Bin Laden did nothing in New York, it were the Bush (Rockefeller) people.
It is all part of the New World Order game of some very stinking rich people who love to control the world and everybody on it via microchips.
Yep just a game for them that is. :(

Sorry Tink,
but I think that only a "stupid" arab like Usama is usefull for
this multi-eder game !

"Stupid":an arab who tells to the world that he "used" based on
lies the Al-Qaeda-members is not in the position to call himself
"leader" !

The rules of the game are known, independant of names or ranks
or titles !

p.s.:When you think that the influence of such eco-groups is
high then you overestimate the trade-boards,
the real world is not $-based !

Yes and no !
Leader-ship is a work-function,
physically Usama Bin Laden abused his position,
he have had to lie !
He abused his own Al-Quaeda-member !!!
LIE:SCHARIA-judgement ?

If I would have such a leader-
after this action- I would elimanate him !

I wouldn't waist a dime on gold. Gold hasn't shown any use in any of the evolving new technologies. It's just trinket metal. If you're going to invest in something invest in something that is going to have industrial demand. Titanium and Platinum look good. Silver and copper are staples and lead is in most solder joints.

I've been debating on investing my savings before a recession or depression that is definitely on the way.......and I've come to the conclusion that if the grid goes down OR the price/KWH is prohibitive- the item in highest demand will be energy. How many 200 watt PV panels and or batteries can I buy for $25K?

Also - when is the right time to sell a house that is paid for and start the cabin in the woods?

Other items in great demand will be food and tools.....and there will always be a demand for booze and cigarettes...a few dozen cases of each might be a good idea. And guns & ammo will be big too.

Strike what I said earlier, our nanotechicians have created micro machines that can transfigure any element and leaps have been made in transmutation too. They expect to be able to do that desktop soon. That means none of the elements are worth investing in. Check out picotech and neutrino-manipulation. They expect desktop accelerators soon and are also though I found no links on it changing subatomic structures with photon bombardment. In short they can manufacture elements and soon the private world will be able to too. I have a barrel full of electronic parts buried deep. How much do you think working transistors will be worth?
