well, I put in a $10 bid on it.  I'll pay that much just out of curiosity to see what it looks like. I'll let you know what happens if I win a copy.

http://www.grandpawsshop.com/simplemagmotor.html

$15 + $4 shipping to buy the disk with Autocad files.

$20 + $5 shipping to buy images disk.

quotes from the site:

Quote
This cd contains drawings for the construction of a magnet motor. This magnet motor uses a push pull design verse others seen on internet which uses only push approach. The CD has all the drawings need to construct the magnet motor. There are 30 drawings, 2 subassemblies drawing, the main assembly. There are 2 folders include one folder is backup copy of drawing files and the other has GIF file which view with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer makes a slideshow of how the motor runs. Sorry, can not export the viewers out of the United States but I will tell you where to download them instead.

I have include for free, either by license or written permission, two different viewers. They are in folder Viewer setup and are for PC's. ABViewer is a great little viewer for these drawings. It only a 31 days trail, but with layer control and view selection it is ideal for non CAD user. The top of the Line is Bentley View. It is a read only CAD program. You can not edit the files but you can change the view and layers as needed. It a free program. With these setup programs you have a choice between your CAD or a viewer.

This was designed by Grandpaw of Grandpaw's Shop. Any CAD program that can read AutoCAD R14 DWG format drawings should be able to view these files. Intellicad downloaded from any vendor that offer 30 day free trial will work.
The price is $15.00 US + $4.00 US shipping.

If you are visiting this page, then we are a lot a like. I believe that science has taken a wrong turn. Especially when it comes to measurement over observation. If it does not match their theory, it does not exist even though they have seen the results, they believe their measuring equipment is wrong. Some of us are not worried about matching a theory but on the results.

I have looked at a lot of magnet motor designs and heard of their shortcomings. One day I was looking at patents and found one by a major motor company that had a working magnet motor. The magnets got stronger, not weaker as with almost all other magnet motors. It was the only design I have seen that could be made with regular magnets and keep the push pull design.

I went to their website and looked around. I did find a page that said this magnet motor will never go into production because of powerful power companies and the government. That rang a bell. I know of stories of persons that have sold out, disappeared or were forced out of business because of what they had invented or designed.

Armed with this information and liking features of other design, I made my first two designs. When I decided to sell the magnet motor plans, I designed the simple magnet motor plans but I had made one mistake. I add a magnet field extender and that changed the ratio of the magnet fields.

When I made a prototype, I noticed it ran in some areas and not in other. I was about to pull the ebay offerings when I noticed why it ran better in spots. I made quick changes to the image CD and wrote a letter to all that had bought the plans. Then I started changing the CAD drawings, when I found an error in my corrections. I spent a day correcting all the files. The reason for second correction was a addition problem. A simple mistake, but a lot of work. I emailed all that had purchsed the plans with corrections and changed files. In a magnet motor of this type, one can not have equal ratio. This was the cause of the error and corrections.

I redone the CAD drawings using more standard parts with a Professional CAD software that produced some of the images on the Magnet Motor Plans images CD. I converted the rest of the images. I have added more text files and showed more clearly the different options and parts.

My next step is to make a prototype that will run smoothly and get a movie of it so everyone can see it. Also I will make sure that Space Energy Access Systems, Inc. (SEAS) get the prototype when I am done. After that I will build two of the real thing. SEAS will get one and I get one for pictures. If things goes well, maybe I will be able to sell some of the custom made parts.

After that, I will go to the next two projects. One is a low friction, low DC voltage and high current generator and the other is a magnet motor to power a small car. The car magnet motor will take some major prototyping.

Now you know where I stand. I am open to all suggestion and will give them my utmost consideration for any improvements.

I have bougth the plans but I am not sure  it is a "working" motor.
The  fonctionning principle of that motor is:   One big rotor at the center and many little ones around it and they are linked by gears.
So,  the price of gears is expensive  I don't know if it worth to try it.

hi joe,

i got an answer to my email.  nice guy.  he sent me an update with other contacts and a couple of pics.  I've attached (hope i did it right) the  update.  below is from his mail.

"There seem to be two guys who are well in advance of my efforts (see the mail addresses in the report): a guy called Shem who says: "I am leading a semi - professional team to build a protype of this and similar magnet motors that will power a small vertical water pump as a feature in a series of  monuments that combine science and art and do not rely on (traditional) external power sources", and a guy called Marcel whose motor pic is also in the report. I mentioned to him that it looks very professional but that's an awful lot of steel trying to grab the attention of the magnets - bad news I think you'll agree. Still, we'll see.

Anyway, I'll probably have a go at making the motor with cut gears (instead of my hafl-arsed prototype in MDF) using Delrin, PTFE etc. I just wanted to see if it showed any promise and would be worth putting in extra effort and money.

Please feel free to mail the guys in the address list.

Best regards

John

Has anyone (including the inventor) built a running prototype yet?

I asked the seller on Ebay a question, "Are the plans guaranteed to work?"  He responded that there has not been a noted successfull build to date as far as he knows but several people are working on it and should have results soon enough.  I'm picking up parts this week...I've got a simple plan (inexpensive as well =) and hope to have some preliminary conclusions by the end of this weekend.

You have to admire the guy for his honesty.

That depends - did he admit that no-one (not even him) has made a working motor *before* he sold the plans to this other guy? Or did he omit this little fact until *after* he made the sale?

Good point.  At least it wasn't big bucks.
