Hi!

It has been a while since my last post. I did a few experiments to
much which in return cost me 5 Batteries and a lot of IGBT's... ouch.

But as new parts arrive, I performed some experiments with a
Hematite-Olive (see photos/videos below) and my charger. The Hematit-
Olive has it's poles on its flat sides and not the long ends. But as
the speed of rotation grows, the Olive stands up and rotates on it's
end, the poles pointing outward, so they are 90? coupled to the
magnetic-flux-flied of my new big/heavy coil. The Magnet spins in
sync with the frequency... puleses are about 2ms - 5ms appart,
depending on tuning. So how much RPM are these? Anyways the magnets
reaches a speed in which it slightly hovers and ROTATES ABSOLUTELY
SILENTLY. But this state is very instabile and soon it falls back in
a more vibrating way of rotating because its not perfect form.

Very interessting is that in my super-efficient Inverter I found
with a ring-core and a function-generator and so extra parts is,
that in XY-Scopemode there are again this two vortexes which are
closed in each other this time (compared to closed in itself and
additionally in each other as with my "Tep" experiment. The vortexes
are also 90? to each other.

Hi Marcus,
I guess your scope shots are inverted ?
Where is the groundline and where did you place the ground of the scope head ?
I guess the traces are just inverted, so one sees just the positive input current going
negative inside the upper trace ?
The same with the voltage probably in trace 2 ?

Well, if you convert( integrate over time) the traces to DC it would give about 10 Volts
DC input at 1.6 amps that is about 16 Watts input and 11 Watts output ?

Could that be ?

What does your input ampmeter show ( should not be the ironmeter, should be a
analog normal DC meter)
Regards, Stefan.

P.S: You can use DIVX codec at the setting of about 300 Kbits/sec and
audio at around 22 Khz mono 16 Kbits/sec. Stay with 320x240 at 15 or 30
frames/sec if you get this from your still-camera.

Nice new coil and rotating ball experiment.
Can you please show a still frame closeup of this olive thing ?
How does that look with no motion ?
What kind of material is this ?
Just Fe2O3 ? or a real magnet ?
