You have two magnets repelling each other. The lead magnet (runner)
moves forward, the second magnet or engine magnet moves backward according to Newtons third law.
They seperate a distance then nothing happens.

Second scenario:

The engine magnet CAN NOT move backward now:
THe runner magnet will still move forwad and leave the stationary engine magnet behind it  untill it reaches a distance then it stops.

Third scenario:

Both engine magnet and runner sphere magnets repelling each other on the same platform BUT moving together as one unit continuously  Thats where I am at now

Sphere magnets.  Ring magnets were to heavy and I found I did not need gravity at all.

 This device starts out like a racehorse and to tell the truth I have not found a practical way to vary the speed .  To slow it down or stop it I have to place a very large ring magnet near it without the setup or ring magnet colliding with each other.

Part of the spinning platform is heavy so it does not run away with blinding speed.

I would like to find someone that can cut a 3/8 inch  diameter titanium rod and thread one end of it to 16 threads per inch spec.
All done without marring or scratching up the rod.   Thats a power drive shaft  Titanium is extremely hard to machine.  I have a long rod to cut if anyone is capable of doing this.  I am using a grade 316 non magnetic stainless steel rod at present.

Hi Guys,

A one year countdown starts whenever I post anything directly describing my for sale unpatented device in DETAIL or post a video on the You Tube describing it. That means its PUBLIC DOMAIN and I have 1 year to patent it from date of posting. No one except me as the original inventor can do this during that 1 year time frame. After that the device is fair game for anyone to patent.
A patent lawyer gave me that advice.


This works beautiful for me as the whole world will now know how to build it.  Whomever contacts me during the 1 year time frame can set up arrangements with me to purchase patening rights knowing full well that anyone in the world can construct it.  If  interested partys do not contact me before the years end then they risk their competition patening the device first     I loose after 1 year but its worth the risk to me.

Its a win-win situation for the world and me.

The last sentence got me thinking : is this the only direction of rotation or can you turn it counter-clockwise ?I wish I could see your device running on opposite hemisphere ? what do you think about it ?

This is something interesting! I just setup a few simulations in Maxwell based on this idea, and I think it actually works. Even better, after some changes, it can be made to work even without using gravity.
This is good because in this forced condition without using gravity, it could operate at very high RPM. The simulation uses a 3" diameter disk 1/8" thick and two cylinder magnets 1/2 diameter 1" long. A ball pivot point 1" above the disk magnet center. The two other magnets are used in different ways to create the forced condition and to provide .018 Newton meters of torque on a rotating disk mounter below the 3" disk magnet holding the two cylinder magnets.

I don't want to say too much as it's not my idea, but the simulator indicates it does work!
I will probably build one myself for testing and report back if it works or not.
