Hi, Its me Tom,

I removed all device videos because things were rapidly changing for  the better.  I never give up. After a great deal of  more experimenting and work (on my own) persuing this I am applying for a patent on what I developed.
My simple inexpensive MOTOR device works using only 2 small  sphere magnets and another inexpensive off the shelf component.  Similar to a SMOT "SMALL MAGNETIC OVERUNITY TOY".  Its self running and can power other devices  NO ELECTRICITY OR ELECTRONICS WHATSOEVER.  Presently I dont care if anyone believes me or not.
My model has great speed and torque and can be classified as a motor rather than a toy.  I plan to show all "AFTER A PATENT IS GRANTED"

In event any corporation is interested please contact me with an open wallet. Cash first (in a police station) then you get to see it and play with it.  Keeps everyone honest.

Have you thought about all those who downloaded this video? If you install Real Player, a plugin allows you to download youtube videos quite easily...
It will not take long before the same video is up and running by another youtuber.

I have not downloaded this video, but others might have. Protecting patents which is already being published on the internet, is next to impossible. Videos are spreading like fire in dry grass.

Why would you think anyone would steal that from you? If you published full and complete drawings. The internet would do the rest for you. you could never be supplanted. also if you were not interested in the money then you could file a patent application and release the details IN FULL. everyone could verify the patent for you and make it easier for you to get the full patent. and you would still have the option of monetizing the patent.

Or copyright the design, it would be your design for 75 years! better protection than a patent.

Tom congratulations on a self-runner.   Nice to see some success stories.   Can you share with us your theory of how it must work?   Where the energy comes from etc.

If you have a few years to wait for some company to give you money for your idea I suggest on line self patent pending approach to protect your works until you get some backing, unless you want to go the open source route which gives you credit for your invention but leaves you with much small amounts of money to be made from your demo units and interviews etc.   
One thing,  you do stand to have your patent and device taken by the clause for "National Security Reasons"  as you may know,  if you go the patent route.

One good thing about the Copyright route is that it would help protect your writings and may help protect the fact that you were the orginal inventor if that is what you want.

Thats exactly why I took the posts down. Lack of real interest. As far as I know only one person bought the materials and then he quit contacting me. A mistake.   I have made major improvements since then but the original concept is there.  Only two sphere magnets and another  inexpensive component is needed to run the device as well as simple non ferrous materials found in Lowes, Home Depot, or Mcmaster-Carr.

If you have something working and you want to sell kits or even just need a hundred prototypes to sell on Ebay , I have several CNC machines. Your setup sounds fairly simple so turn around would be short. I suppose a small working device on Ebay would sell about 2 Million, at $100 each? Maybe contact someone in China!

Epoxy them in a repel mode and let the epoxy cure keeping the magnets still all the while. I did just that.

 



  I am going to make a video showing this device running as soon as I get another component replacement not mentioned.   That component is the key part that makes the device operate  and will be covered.  Now I am sure skeptics will cry fake with a cover on not even knowing what its all about.  I dont do fakes.

My game plan is such:
Patenting is out. Money down a government rathole unless you are a millionare.  So another option is to make this a PUBLIC DOMAIN invention where all I will recieve is a ata  boy then forgoten.

For all my efforts I would like take in a little cash for charity puposes so I am planning to video the device as above and place the video on the You Tube.

At that time I also will post the devce on Ebay linking the video on You Tube to it and see where that leads.

No takers then it goes Public Domain and I can kick back and watch what greed is capable of doing.  At least then it becomes alive in todays market place and alive for individual replication.

Those of us who are Tesla fans (who isn't) have an acute sense of disillusionment dont we? LOL

i do remember following your videos with much interest, but didnt post to the threads as they were forwarded by hartiberlin so i didnt know if you were actually on here or not.

is this device based on the one with the magnet that looked like a big hockey puck with a hole in it?
i could go on, but i think you know the one im talking about.

if so, i think that was one of the most novel ideas ive seen in a long time.
i do hope that i will get a chance to build or buy one of them someday.

This is good because in this forced condition without using gravity, it could operate at very high RPM. The simulation uses a 3" diameter disk 1/8" thick and two cylinder magnets 1/2 diameter 1" long. A ball pivot point 1" above the disk magnet center. The two other magnets are used in different ways to create the forced condition and to provide .018 Newton meters of torque on a rotating disk mounter below the 3" disk magnet holding the two cylinder magnets.

I don't want to say too much as it's not my idea, but the simulator indicates it does work!
I will probably build one myself for testing and report back if it works or not.

Yes, all credit should go to Tom for his persistence.   
He has been a great contributor to OU over the years with all his demo's and wonderful inventions. 

I look forward to seeing his release video of a working proto-type motor.

You have two magnets repelling each other. The lead magnet (runner)
moves forward, the second magnet or engine magnet moves backward according to Newtons third law.
They seperate a distance then nothing happens.

Second scenario:

The engine magnet CAN NOT move backward now:
THe runner magnet will still move forwad and leave the stationary engine magnet behind it  untill it reaches a distance then it stops.

Third scenario:

Both engine magnet and runner sphere magnets repelling each other on the same platform BUT moving together as one unit continuously  Thats where I am at now
