A twin sailing vehicles back and forth wind generator. New idea

A unique idea for low cost wind generator

This wind generator has two same kind of sailing vehicles, they are tied together by a rope. As wind blowing, one goes back, another one goes forth. The vehicles travel a distance, then change over, start move again.  The rope runs over turning wheels which connect to generators,  and generate electricity continually.  This kind of generator should be much easier and cheaper to be built than tradition wind generator.  Details on website http://www.freelights.co.uk/sg.html

it cost energy
that go to LOSSES.

because
you need extra energy to tire (pull)
an 2. vehicel taht CONSUME (not deliver) energy.


(Think about  TWO vehicle must be bulled alltime !!
That cost an lot of the Wind energy.

Windmill  is the better qay

Hi

To test this theory.  I made two toy sail boats in same size, same weight, same design, put them on water tank, a 9 inch fan as wind power.  I made a short film for this test. Please go to youtube :

Looks like a boat with fully saised sail can easily bring a same boat with lowered sail back in same wind condition.

Pese has a very good point ! In a wind mill "All" the sails are always doing work together All the time!
very little "Friction" loss's.

If for a large scale of wind generator,  this twin sailing boats wind generator maybe cheaper and easier to be built?
