Disappointing, just more 'fluff'.  I dared to hope it might be an actual working prototype.

Let us not forget that Mr Searl was put in prison for owing 10k to the electricity company.... (this was a long time ago, think about it... 10k back then is worth a LOT more today). So ask your self... why would a person claiming to have free energy steal electricity from an electricity company? I offer no opinions here, just asking the question, so don't attack me!

P.S everything I said is factual, and the things that were not "facts" were questions, so nothing anyone can say can disprove anything I have just said.

I can't say I'm that familiar with that situation and Searl but this is certainly the kind of thing that is done to inventors to discourage them.  It would of course require an investigation of sources close to this situation to see if it was real or just a way to put him out of business.

I just did a bit more checking and it appears you have the story wrong.  Searl was put in prison for generating his own electricity without having a permit and not for stealing it from the electric companies.  Apparently over there if you generate your own power they still want you to pay for it ?  WTF?

@Poit - the problem is that back then he was relatively unknown, at least in the public's eyes, so tossing him in prison barely raised an eyebrow.  Today, being both elderly and more in the limelight, especially since the advent of the internet, they wouldn't dare doing that now.  So if they have working prototypes, they should be at least releasing videos.

@e2matrix - the not-paying-his-bills was the story I also had.  At least prison is preferable to the American way of doing things - killing off the inventors!  And you don't need to have an OU-device to garner their attention - Dennis Lee was only selling heat-pumps for God's sake.  Another guy I remember reading about was worth over $400 million, spent $36 million on a wind-farm whose electricity he was going to resell.  One night he got a phone-call informing him that if he didn't leave his facility that very day and never return, his whole family would be dead come morning!  He said, on putting down the phone, the first thing he did was pick up a calculator and worked out what he'd lose financially.  It came to about 10% of his net-worth - not worth his and his families lives he concluded, so he just left!  These American utility companies play for keeps...
