Title: Frequency Generator with Power Supply
Post by: AbdelrahmanMagid on April 13, 2011, 12:43:46 AM
Hello everyone, I made a simple frequency generator that connects to a power supply. It Allows you to set the DC current at your desired frequency, needs to connect to a iOS device, android or computer here is the link

Nice tutorial!

I am however a reluctant to use my expensive phone during experiments.

I just need something that can send a signal under 15v to the gate on a mosfet.

I'd. Like the frequency to be variable with a pot or something.

I've found a function generator at maplin(UK) that almost fits the bill but its frequency adjustments are stepped using buttons at fixed frequencies.

Any suggestions on how I might get my hands on what I need.

Only need low freq 10h 20k or so.

Thanks

Hi, I am glad you liked my tutorial, you can also buy a used 1 gen ipod touch instead of a phone. Frequency generators for what you want to do are expensive but you can also build one, here are some link. I hope this helps
