hmm, why do you need at all diodes ? why can?t you just drive a few lamp bulbs as the load with the AC ?

You could do such. But, you would not be able to run power back to the source so as to keep device perpetual.

It would be okay, just to show more light power coming out of the device from the light
bulbs than putting in via the power supply. Did you try this philosophymanus 
 ? Then you don?t need these high speed diodes !
