the garden of importance, and the barbarians who burn it down.
« on: December 08, 2009, 02:45:14 AM »
"importance", is exactly like a plant.

both start from almost nothing.
and slowly grow larger.
eventually turning into something, that is useful in some way.

both need things to grow.
and cannot grow, without these things.

both can only grow, if they are tolerated.
if they are ALLOWED to grow, without being attacked and destroyed.

if either one is torn a part or burned, it will DIE.
and once it has been killed, no more usefulness can come from it.

unless it is replaced with another,
than NOTHING of any use will come from the space that it once occupied.

when i look at this world, i see people DESTROYING importance, all around me.
it is an epidemic.

people refuse to give importance what it needs, to grow.
people refuse to let it grow in peace.
prefering to viciously poke and prod it.

to rip off a piece of importance,
throw the piece on the ground,
and to stomp on the pieces with their foot.
as if the piece were a burning cigarette.

sometimes other people uproot the entire plant, and throw it in a fire.
for reasons that can only be less important, than the potential that they just ruined.

when i was just 18 years old, i realized that logic was a fire.
a fire that breaks a part the connections, that hold something together.

the fire of logic can EASILY reduce importance, to ashes.
regardless of how useful the importance was.

even hardy weed-like importance, cannot survive a burning inferno of logic.

.......my main point in typing this,
is that most of the population needs to learn,
how to let importance EXIST.

without trying to obliterate it.
without threatening its very existence, to see if it is worthy.

because even the smallest,
weakest,
most fragile importance,
deserves a chance to exist.

if even a third of the population would do this,
than this planets quality of life would be several times higher,
than it is now.

and all of us would be closer to a lush, green paradise of meaningfulness......

that anyone could enjoy.

for free.
