Iron remanence question.

Ive tried to hunt this down but can find anything. Which Iron has the least amount of remanence. Ductile or cast?

The softer and purer the iron, the lower the remanence.  Annealed iron (heated red hot and allowed to cool slowly) will have very low remanence.  Any carbon or other impurities will increase its remanence.
