First, make sure your cookies are keeping you logged in.
Look for your username in the upper left "Hello Username".

With that done, you may be on a site that restricts working with attachments until you've contributed a defined number of posts.

That usually applies to posting attachments/pics,
but may apply to downloading them here too.

For reference, I downloaded that piece of pure crap about an hour ago,
so I can at least indicate the link is functional.

Are you checking the box that KEEPS you logged in?

Hmm, try direct from this free file sharing site:

http://www.filedropper.com/Magna-Wont-Work

Note, the file is:
828,455 bytes
      809 KB

Gosh, I was sure one of the 'Elder's here
would toss a crumb of wisdom your way...

If this solution is a problem Stephan,
let me know and I'll retire the free link.

Wow,
i downloaded the same file from this website.
it is only 809 KB (828,455 bytes).
Basically under a megabyte.

Yours is 6.30 MB (6,608,383 bytes).
Has the same 57 pages too.

Wonder what the extra hidden data is?  ???

Hope it isn't a trojan/virus/rootkit...

I scanned both files online here:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/ = 21 AV Brands
http://www.virustotal.com/ = 41 AV Brands
http://www.drweb-online.com/en/virustest.html

Others not/partially used:
http://onlinescan.avast.com/ (512-KB max limit)
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus/ (1-MB max limit)

They all found nothing in either file...

I tried to edit an earlier post to correct a mispelling and got this:

"An Error Has Occurred! "
"You may not modify this post as the time limit for edits has passed."

Any idea what that time limit actually is?

Thanks
