How I first learned of it:

Many years ago as a young child I recall a boy who was about a year older than me who’s mother baby sat me while my mother was working at the Royal Oak, Michigan public Library. This was back in 1959-1960. The boy’s first name was Terry.

Terry’s father was working on an unusual motor that we had a peep at one day in his father’s little workshop. As near as I can remember it appeared to be an aluminum block of a standard 2 stroke air cooled engine such as is found on rather large radio flyers. It had a tube heading down from the top of it where the glow plug would be attached, that led down towards the base of the engine where the crankshaft was housed.

Terry’s Father was still in the process of working on the motor. A little later on when his dad was home, he took us both out to show off his idea. The motor he said had some more work to be done with it that would include two PSI gauges mounted on the tube. Also there would be a quick adjustable valve mounted between the two gauges to restrict and thus slow the air flow. In turn he’d use this to adjust the speed of the engine as well. Terry’s father explained that he’d use the cycled air to maintain the momentum of the motor without having to use any fuel other than a little oil to lubricate the rings mounted on the little piston along with some for the crankshaft’s assembly at the bottom of the motor.

I have since thought about this further after hearing from a fellow truck driver friend of mine who saw a young man out around Denver Colodrado doing demonstrations of this type of motor and selling it to people living on the outskirts of surrounding towns. He was showing a video tape of it in action as it operated. He claimed it only needed one drop of oil per two hours. I can’t help but wonder if that young man that my fellow truck driver spoke of, is related some how to Terry from my childhood or at least knew him and spoke to him about that idea. One thing’s for certain. If that young man had tried to get a standard patend for it, he’d have been refused right off the bat. Because it would have been nailed as a perpetual motion device. Thus the refusal. I have further statements to make about this motor because I’ve done a lot of thinking about it since I was reminded of it by Gene (My fellow truck driver friend) who stirred up my memory of Terry’s father’s invention. My question is; has anyone out there who just happens to live around Denver Colorado and/or surrounding towns come across this invention being advertised at swap meets or other places of a more Grass Roots Nature for Trade and Commerse? Back at that time, I would imagine so.  Today they can be so much more decerning of what lies beneath a name. At any rate I'm still looking for that inventor out in the Denver, CO region.  Is anybody familiar with this device?  Because it would seem that who ever this person is that my friend, Gene spoke of is doing the grass roots approach to this device rather than the US Patent office approach.  Has anyone out there heard of this type of motor being marketed out around the Denver area?  Please respond!
