Why should we forget it?
The aluminum tube could be the Gain Medium in which current of charged beta particles is generated.
I bet the device would work better if the slot in the tube was paper-thin (a slot stops slow conduction current only).

P.S.
I have not verified the decay modes of aluminum before I wrote the above.

It will not pass because this video does not show the ISOLATION of the device from external energy sources.
It is recorded at such high zoom that the whole device is not visible at any one instance and it is impossible to judge its isolation.

Also, I think Hoppy will flip his lid when he sees that mysterious ground wire going 'somewhere". Just wait and see...

Yes, 3G field will give you 21336Hz resonance frequency for copper.
Give me the diameter of your Helmholtz Coils (or Maxwell Coils) and I will calculate the ampturns for your 3G field.
However, Earth's field (0.5G) will distort that 3G field of your coils if they are not aligned with the Earth's magnetic field, end even if they are aligned any ferromagnetic metal in the room, AC wiring or rebar will distort it, too.

Yes but then the discs will not free wheel like they did. To me they did not seem to be belted (EDIT: to a drive motor) unless belts are tight they slip and cause drag when tight.

With a swing in drive assembly the rotor free spins once power is removed and would be silent. If there was a belt inside the device driving the rotor
one would be able to feel the belt when the rotor is moved by hand. EDIT: I mean if it was attached directly to a drive motor. A swing in friction drive could be very simple to make.

The main point is there is enough room to hide a butchered steer in the aluminium box. Anything could be in there. It's not a demonstration it's an insult.

I don't believe the toroid does anything much.

Hes not trying to show that the device is without question over unity but maybe or maybe not overunity,main thing is hid it.There are plenty of people willing to give him money.
Hes money source is demo's not selling a free energy device,in my opinion its too simple to sell.
The video's following the motor video's show different methods,in can,in box ,only in the recent video is the active device shown.

This is a 50cm and 80kg rotor. Its moment of inertia is huge and would overshadow any belt "feel" and drag at 2cm radius. Anyway, the rotor does experience drag - it does not even free-wheel for 3 minutes despite this huge moment of inertia.

I'm trying to explain how that kind of sound could be coming from the setup more than anything. It sounds like a steel disc on a motor like a circular saw blade.

If the rotor is not free wheeling then I would agree with the belt, but what of the drag created by the drive motor ?
How to make it look as if there is no driving motor connected ? By using a mechanism to disengage the motor from the pulley driving the rotor with the belt.

You could say your drawing could simply be enhanced by adding a disengaging mechanism as I described. Like a car starter motor effect kind of. Except it only requires the initial torque to swing it in to engage and when power is cut it swings back away, any such disengaging mechanism could be made quite easily. is my point, to make it better.

The 9 volt battery is like the car key, when it is turned the motor engages and the setup spins the rotor, the 9 volt battery would simply power a relay to supply the power to the motor from a battery bank. Theoretically. I'm not making any accusations, just a devils advocate theory.

If you study different types of electric motors you'll notice that some of them do not exhibit any cogging or drag when their supply circuits are open. e.g. Russian electric juicer motors are of that type.

Do you think that the drive mechanism was engineered to make that saw-sound or the sound arised accidentally as the result of the drive mechanism's construction ?

If the frequency of that sound is constant and the nature of propulsion is mechanical then it means that something is slipping quietly. That is not very plausible considering the huge moment of inertia involved.

However, the whole idea of belt in the pedestal is negated by the gap under the pedestals which you can see here.
