Gemini Engine...
« on: March 26, 2009, 07:01:45 PM »

......proposal ,you can find,if you take a look at   www.geocities.com/iacob_alex   then click on  "Some_Drafts"/text020.jpg  with the title "Gemini Wheel".

It takes advantage of a possible interplay with the inertial property of space.

If you know the scheme of a vibratory pile driver, with two syncro counter-rotating masses, that develops a " to and fro" motion,on a line only...this time , "Gemini Wheel"  shapes out a different course: a "TO" motion only.

It has least spare parts...so you can play with a toy-size "space drive" model.

...is simply,an application of the pendular concept for an inertial drive.

A pendulum can be considered for a space drive,as a blade for a common propeller(air, water).

The main property of a blade propeller,as a basic design,is that it can be used to collect power,or to travel, move a body.

    Propeller's blade,is a symbol,for transport and energy,in the same time.

Sure, this is not the single method to get power or to move, but a blade propeller can reverse a function, purpose.

If you take a look at:   www.geocities.com/iacob_alex/Some_Drafts/text020.jpg   (Gemini Wheel),and then at:   www.geocities.com/iacob_alex/Some_Drafts/untitled029.jpg   (Gemini Gravity Wheel),you can  have in sight a resemblance...

The intention is to make use of a pendulum ,in the  same simple manner,as we employ a blade ...

...is intended to be a member, of a large mechanical oscillators.

You can see one of them at ;   www.vibrationtechnology.com/oilfield_vibration_system.html

Here is a simple moving device: a counter-rotating mechanism, with two equal eccentric masses, that provides a powerful bi-directional thrust..
It can be used in different positions ,face to gravity : vertical, horizontal or oblique line.

In any situation, this mechanical oscillator moves to and fro.

The "Gemini Engine" is designed for a possible TO MOTION,only...so as a tractive vector.

Hi iacob alex,

Interesting as always.

A few months ago, I started designing an electrical generator using the same principle as the oil field vibration system.

It involves two supports joint with springs, one with coils mounted upward and the other with magnets mounted downward just above the coils and using the vibrator system to start the oscillation in one member and create electricity from the oscillating magnetic fields. The vibrations can be transmitted efficiently to a large surface using minimal energy, the system closely resemble the "windbelt" concept.

Take care,

Michel

                         Hi Michel !

You can find plenty of information on net, regarding this subject.

So,if you type a search for  "inertial propulsion" ,or  "centrifugal propulsion" ,or  "space drive propulsion" ...you need much time to cover this domain.

Then, you can decide about your idea : nothing is good or bad but by comparison.

.....as a simplified concept , at :
     www.geocities.ws/iacob_alex/Some_Drafts/text020.jpg
     We have:
-two synchro counter-rotating wheels / frames
    -four free to commute masses.
The ideea is to make a composition , so to obtain as a resultant a tractive vector.

But can this work without the shaking part?
