TESNIC Tesla Turbine-based Wind Turbine
« on: October 08, 2008, 03:06:16 AM »
Haven't seen this on here yet.  Looks easy enough to build yourself ;D

http://www.tesnic.com/

I'm going to build a small test one with CD's and see what happens.  If they can be built cheap enough, why not build a bunch of them and string 'em together?
Now to find some plans for an inexpensive easy-to-build magnetic alternator!  If you know of any, please post!  Thanks.

Much Peace,
~Will

Hi GM,

Nice find. Seems it reasonably easy to build a prototype ourselves.
The stacked discs can indeed be old cd's and the blades can be cut out of pvc tubes.

Did you look for the patent already?

regards,

dutchy

I haven't done a patent search... but that's a good idea.
Can someone please post a link to a free patent search site(s)?

Thanks.

I can't help but think of this crop circle design when looking at this TESNIC Wind Turbine...

Hi Golden Mean

easy-to-build magnetic alternator
maybe a small stepper motor..(used in old computer printers)
