automotive solutions are not easy to implement,because who will do it?If u would offer a full packet of supporting parts,installing them and maintenance u could do something with it.Designing and implementing is only a fraction of the whole product life.maintenance and support is often 60 to 75% of the time and total costs associated with the project/product.(just how much car manufacturers earn on parts and service?what would u do with a 2000E laptop that has a broken space bar on the keyboard?etc.)
Second ,if  u can't put a business plan,no one will invest in even the most brilliant idea.That's why no investors r knocking at inventors door...Imagine yourself as an investor,would u put ur money into hands of a person who can't even make a business plan,can even spend his time and put an effort in making it?risk is too high and inventor only looses creditability by his estimations based on his feelings.If u can't evaluate risks,can't show a business value,nothing will happen.

my advise to those people would be: make a business plan,start to act seriously if u want serious attention.With good business plan there is no problem with a bank loan to spin off ur business.Show others with numbers that it will work out,investors believe in hard numbers.If u r not committed to ur idea(show commitment by at lest a business plan!) how do u expect others to commit to ur idea?

It is basic business.Evaluate the risks and opportunities,make customer profile and catch his/her needs.

They r not too cheap.Even worse,no one knows how profitable they can be.
