Simple water pump with no moving parts !
« on: August 10, 2007, 04:41:46 PM »
Hi All,
I came across these 2 videos about a very easy water
pump with no moving parts.
It works as long as you have 2 different water reservoirs at
different heights.
So this might be a very good solution for 3rd world countries
to move water up for watering plants etc...

Have a look at it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0topdMcpNMk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOn7Zu3CCxo

It is based on using air as the pulser to press water upwards.
I wonder how much water can be pressed upwards compared to
being lowered and what the involved potential energies are ?
Could there be moved more water upwards then being moved down ?
Probably not, but maybe one could optimize the effect to
move much more water up per volume of water, that is moved to
the lower basin reservoir  level ?
Regards, Stefan.

Oh this is way cool. About 10 years ago I found the USpatent for the pharoh's pump. This patent was awarded to Ed Kunkel in the 30's. I made a water pipe version, but the pyramid pump is very much more complicated (and powerful) than this one and so I couldn't replicate, but I never lost my assurance that the thing works. After all the US patent office gave Kunkel a patent. There are many interesting details for conversation, but I am reassured and I will try to make this very simple version.
To respond to your questions a bit, the atmospheric pressure and gravity combine to give the lift. The air is dropped down by gravity and then the air pressure gets stronger once down there in the lower region and since it can easily get into the thinner tube it releases its pressure back up into the air but higher than it started. Of course not all the water goes up to this new height, but enough does and without any work added so it can truely be called an overunity device (since when calculating overunity we/they only count things that cost and don't consider things that come with the earth as is).
Lake Moeris was very likely the lower pond that was formed by the use of the great pyramid. The Nile was probably the source of the water and air. Oh I could go on and on, but I will stop writing and smile.

very nice and also very simple !

that is the idea to research and think simple. the more complicated way you try most likely to find out negative results.

we have to search in the simplest forces that we got and combine them with simple physics laws and have big results .

wish you all the best in your research .

Go Green !!

Betreff: Widder-Motor - Ram-Engine
Datum: 01. Jul 2008 11:03

Hallo liebe Freunde Freier Energie, hi friends of Free Energy (see
English text below).

Der Euro2008-Stress ist ?berwunden, auch dem sommerlichen Hitze-Stress
werden wir standhalten.

Material-Stress entsteht bei Rotation von Masse auf kleinem Radius,
beispielsweise dr?ngt rotierendes Wasser vehement nach au?en - was per

Wassers an.

In einem neuen Kapitel ?Widder-Motor? ( www.evert.de/ap0708.htm ) habe

dennoch komplexe Bauform erfordert.

Alles Gute.
Fred Evert

In English:

We got over Euro-2008-stress and will get over summer-heat-stress.

Material-stress comes up when masses rotate at small radius, e.g.
rotating water vehemently pushes outward - and via turbine-blades that
pressure is transferable in mechanical turning momentum.

Backstroke-stress however is much stronger: whenever outlet is closed
abruptly, pressure-wave is racing backward by sound-speed - and can
drive rotation of water like shown at Backstroke-Centrifuge.

At new chapter ?Ram-Engine? ( www.evert.de/ap0708e.htm ) I mentioned
some further details and discussed a version of some simpler design.

Old conception of Hydraulic Ram works reliable - thus this
movement-principle within closed system should work as motor even more
effective.

Ich hope you are not stressed when studying that chapter (
www.evert.de/ap0708e.pdf ), even this simple and compact engine still
demands some complex shaped elements.

Wish you all the best.
