heat to bubble inside a pipe
« on: June 21, 2007, 10:50:27 AM »
hi it's me again  :D

i apologize in advanced if this is stupid.

ok the attached picture should give you somewhat a basic idea of what i am saying.

just have a question based on my picture for you guys.

do i just need a little bit of heat to produce an air bubble inside the vertical water pipe to travel long distance (long enough to sustain the heat source) and at the same time turn an electrical generator to feed back the heat source?

peace

How do you get the air bubble in there and
should it just produce the energy by just going up ?

Then you have to bring back the water up again too
and that will cost more energy.
Also the air presure will only drive the water up about 30 Meters
when I remember correctly, so it is about 90 feets maximum..
