And in the day of SM these DIODES (notice I did not say rectifier) were incapsulated in the Top-Hat case as in the item Marco circled on the pic and asked what it would be.

Diodes can be used to pass energy from a tuned tank into what would be called an 'infinity inductance' for storage of energy. Since the infinite inductance has no limit on the energy stored it always appears to the tire pump as having a lower pressure than the pump so air always flows.

This would be a great thing to connect between two bifilar conductors of the same coil. Maybe a good source for RE  :D

I didn't see anyone answer the question earlier concerning increasing the amperage, I assume because it's pretty obvious but just incase this has passed some people by:

If you want increased amps you need to put the individual wires in parallel.
